Itinerary
- Day 1
Yerevan
You'll arrive in Yerevan and get settled at your hotel. Later this afternoon, there's a walking tour through the city's main squares and landmarks. Republic Square and Northern Avenue show off some of the city's Soviet-era architecture, and you'll pass through Freedom Square before heading up to the Cascade, a massive staircase structure with great views overlooking Yerevan.

- Day 2
Yerevan to Goris
Pick up at 08:00 and head south toward the southern regions. Start at Khor Virap monastery, where you get views of Mount Ararat across the border. Then drive to Noravank, another monastery tucked into a canyon. After lunch, continue to Halidzor village to ride what's considered the world's longest cable car, then explore Tatev monastery perched on a clifftop. You'll overnight in Goris. The full day runs about 8 to 9 hours.

- Day 3
Goris to Yerevan
Following breakfast at the hotel, drive to Khndzoresk village where you can walk through the old cave dwellings and cross the swinging bridge (plan on about an hour for this). Later you'll see Shaqi waterfall, which is one of the country's nicest waterfalls. Before heading back to Yerevan, stop at Areni winery for tastings and a tour of their cellars. The whole tour takes roughly 7 to 8 hours.

Yerevan
After breakfast, you'll visit Tsitsernakaberd, the genocide memorial overlooking the city. Then head to a famous cognac factory for tastings in one of the historic cellars in old Yerevan. In the afternoon, browse Vernisaj souvenir market for local crafts and gifts. This day runs about 5 to 6 hours total.

Yerevan to Sevan Peninsula
Today's a day trip to the Sevan Peninsula to check out Sevanavank monastery on the shores of Lake Sevan. From there, go to Garni pagan temple, which is the only pagan temple still standing in Armenia. You'll have lunch at a local villager's home, then visit Geghard monastery, a UNESCO site built partially into a mountain. Return to Yerevan by evening.
