However, it is not a group trip in the classic sense (as I originally understood it) so I will describe it briefly. Before the trip, the travel coordinator contacts you and sends you the voucher for the trip. This includes the transfer from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is located near Khaosan Road, which is a good (tourist) location. The hotel itself (New Siam Palace) is partly very nicely renovated and partly very old. There is no program on the first day. On the 2nd day, you are picked up by a private guide and the most important temples are visited. On the 3rd day, there is a group tour to Ayutthaya with people who have booked this as a day trip. There is also no program on the 4th day. Overall, I'm really glad that I booked it this way, as it was my first long-distance trip on my own, but in future I will probably book the excursions and the hotel separately. The team was very helpful in planning our whole trip .Will definitely come for next international travel . Hotel was superb in Bangkok and our rooms are with wonderful view. We really enjoyed 4 days in this city. Our guide, was excellent throughout and as well as spectacular temples we also visited markets, museums and were lucky enough to also witness an elephant feast festival which was a real highlight.
