Jeanmarie· February 10th, 2024I am a 71 year old solo female traveler. I was terribly disappointed to discover that my "tour" was not a guided tour. Things were confusing, disjointed, stressful, I never want to be responsible for someone's job, but one of my guides was unintelligible. I try to be tolerant, because I speak several languages, but I could barely understand a word. Another guide went on and on about names, rulers, religion, which was totally over information at Angkor Wat on an unbearably hot day. First hotel was OK, but neighborhood was grungy. so I didn't feel comfortable walking around on my own. Hotel in Siem Reap (KouPrey) was beautiful, with s goid restaurant and pool. Ha was my contact in Ho Chi Minh, and always available to answer questions. However, the guide in Siem Reap, PJ, had good knowledge of monuments but lacked presentation and organization. - RARobin· February 21st, 2023Please don't book this tour! Bravo Indochina was VERY difficult to work with. I never received and communication from them (unless, of course, I owed them money). They did not communicate the names and locations of my hotels unless I badgered them via WhatsApp. My tour guide in Bangkok did, technically, speak English, but not well enough for me to understand her. By the end of the day I was exhausted just trying to translate what she was telling me. Also, while I realize this could be a cultural misunderstanding, she shared my "included" meal with me. I left hungry! The hotels in which I was booked were clean, but not three-star hotels. The company simply went on Agoda and booked tours and hotels for me. I could have done that! And it seems they waited until the last moment and took whatever hotel and tour was left. Please save your money! Our tour will be finish in SIemreap and you should book flight back to bangkok with airasia. U.S. Passport Holders are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days on each visit or 15-day stays if arriving by land-crossing.
