Entebbe Airport Arrival
Your driver and guide will be waiting at Entebbe International Airport to meet you when you arrive. From there, you'll transfer to your accommodation for the night to settle in and rest up before the journey ahead.

Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you're looking at a 9-hour drive from Kampala heading southwest toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The route takes you through rural countryside with farms, small towns, and plantations scattered along the way. You'll stop for lunch in Mbarara around midday, then continue on to your lodge, arriving by evening.

- Day 3
Gorilla Tracking and Queen Elizabeth National Park
This is the main event of your trip. You'll trek for mountain gorilla tracking in small groups of no more than 8 people, making your way through forested slopes and bamboo thickets in search of these incredible animals. Once you locate a gorilla family, you'll spend up to an hour watching and photographing them. In the afternoon, you'll drive to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where tree-climbing lions sometimes rest in the branches, which is a rare sight worth looking for.

- Day 4
Kalinzu Forest Chimpanzee Tracking and Return
You'll start early with breakfast before heading to Kalinzu Forest for a guided primate walk. Your guide will help you locate chimpanzees and other primates like colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys while explaining the forest's wildlife and plant life. After that, you'll begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport, stopping for lunch and browsing local souvenirs at the equator crossing near Mbarara City before heading out.
