- Day 3
Trapani
Head inland to Erice, a medieval walled town sitting 751 meters up on Monte San Giuliano where narrow streets feel frozen in time. From there you'll transfer to Trapani, known as the City of the Two Seas, to check out the Annunciation Sanctuary, Giudecca Palace, and the Baroque Cathedral. Before dinner, you'll visit the Salina di Trapani salt pans where the landscape shifts to white geometric patterns.

Sciacca - Agrigento
You'll travel to Selinunte to walk through one of Sicily's major Greek archaeological sites with its temples and ancient ruins. Later you'll reach Sciacca, founded in the 5th century BC as a thermal resort, then continue to Agrigento. Here a guided tour takes you through the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with temples, sanctuaries, and a necropolis spanning centuries.

Noto
Your guide shows you Ragusa, another UNESCO site split between Ibla on its hilltop and modern Ragusa Superiore, revealing layers of Sicilian art and culture. After exploring, you'll head to Noto, famous for its 17th and 18th century baroque architecture rebuilt after earthquakes. You'll return to your hotel in time for dinner.

- Day 6
Catania
Syracuse awaits as one of the oldest Mediterranean cities with Greek and Roman sites throughout. You'll spend time in the Archaeological Park and on Ortygia island viewing the Temple of Apollo (Sicily's oldest temple), the remains of the Temple of Athena now part of the Cathedral, and the Temple of Zeus. Then you'll transfer to Catania for dinner and your overnight stay.

Taormina
You'll head up Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, reaching 1,800 meters to see the craters of Mount Silvestri. After that, a local winery stop gives you a chance to taste and learn about Sicilian wines. The afternoon brings you to Taormina, known as the Pearl of Sicily, where your guide shows you the Teatro Greco before dinner.

Aeolian Islands (Lipari)
You'll transfer to Milazzo and take the ferry to Lipari, largest of the Aeolian Islands. This archipelago of seven islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi, and Alicudi) offers wild, unspoiled landscapes and two active volcanoes. Free time during lunch lets you explore on your own, and you'll learn about Malvasia delle Lipari, the naturally sweet DOC wine from these islands. The ferry brings you back to Milazzo by evening.

Caccamo
You'll explore Cefalù, a charming coastal town sometimes called the small Taormina, with your guide showing you its character and history. Dinner at a local restaurant follows before you head back to your hotel.
