Itinerary
- Day 1
Danube Delta
You'll arrive at the guesthouse and get settled into your room. The afternoon is yours to wander through the village or head down to the Danube shores at your own pace, or you can simply relax at the accommodation if you prefer. After dinner, sit down with your hosts over some local wine while they fill you in on the boat trips coming up and go over the safety procedures.

Landmarks/POIs Danube Delta - Day 2
Danube Delta
Start early with breakfast, then walk over to the boat mooring for a six-hour trip out on the water. You'll be watching for kingfishers, white-tailed eagles, pelicans, herons, egrets, and ibis, plus you might spot raccoon dogs, wild cats, boar, and otters. Get back to the guesthouse for lunch and try the traditional fish dishes, then head to Bestepe Hill Natural Reserve to see panoramic views of the delta and catch the sunset if timing works out. Over dinner with your hosts, you'll plan what to do tomorrow.

Danube Delta
After breakfast, you're heading out for another six-hour boat trip, this time exploring different areas of the Danube Delta with its lakes and channels. You'll keep an eye out for wildlife throughout the morning and early afternoon. Return to the guesthouse for lunch and share traditional Romanian wine with the other guests while talking through what everyone saw. The rest of the afternoon is free, so you can either relax or take a quieter walk if you're interested.

Danube Delta
Today you're calling the shots. Decide if you want to go back to the forests, revisit the lakes you liked before, or hunt for a specific species you haven't tracked down yet. Your guides will customize the day based on what you choose. You'll return for dinner and spend time reflecting on all the landscapes and wildlife you've seen over your time here.

Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast before heading out and leaving the Danube Delta behind with memories of your stay. You'll say goodbye to your hosts with hopes of returning one day.
