When we arrived he made us feel so welcomed, safe and comfortable - part of the family! He was also very knowledgeable when I asked him anything about the Thai culture and about how to get the best and most authentic meals and snacks, and his recommendations never gave us food poisoning (as well as being so yummy!)! The fact that Eve was Thai himself definitely helped with this, and we felt he really had our backs with the locals to get us the best experience. He was also just so much fun! Our group was quite small for this trip, and I think without his amazing energy we would have struggled to keep up a good vibe. If I came back to TruTravels I would try and request Eve because I wouldn’t want anyone else :) he made our trip so memorable and I wish I was able to stay with him for longer! Eve and Tony made every day a joy, every event fun, the travel days easy and stress free. The night of the Full Moon Party I and the rest of the group were overwhelmed by the sheer number of people, we all lost each other in about minutes but Eve & Tony managed to find us all and the perfect spot on a balcony for us so we could enjoy the night. It's probably one of the best experiences of my life. But also, every hour of every day they had the energy and spirit to lift the mood of the entire group. It's impossible not to have a great time when they're around. Top that with the amazing scenery, people, events of Thailand and you have the formula for an unforgettable experience. - AEoin Walsh· November 13th, 2023Biggy and Smiles were amazing guides. I did the full moon experience which joined the longer 10 and 16 day tours. The guys made a huge effort to make sure I got sorted with travel, transport, accommodation etc. and that I also got to know the rest of the group as they had been travelling together already. All the activities were a great way to see the island and spend time with the group. The guys were so helpful and attentive everywhere and joined in the games with us too. In the few small instances where things went wrong (lost phone, cuts and scrapes) the guys were even better again at looking after eve try one. They went above and beyond what people would expect from a large tour guide and made sure everyone was okay. You will be staying at Tiki Beach. Pick-up from the pier can be arranged through our group chat about a week before the tour starts. It typically takes about 5-10 minutes from the pier to the accommodation.
