Arrival
You'll arrive on Saturday of Lazarus and head straight to your hotel for check-in. There's a welcome drink waiting for you, and the rest of the evening is yours to relax and get settled after your journey.

- Day 2
Athens to Cape Sounion
Start with a guided tour through Athens, beginning at the Panathinaiko Stadium and continuing to major sites like the Acropolis, ancient temples, and museums. After lunch, the route follows the scenic coastal road heading south to Cape Sounio, where you'll visit the Temple of Poseidon right on the water with views across the sea.

Athens to Aigion
Head north from Athens toward Aigion on the Peloponnese coast. Along the way, you'll stop at the Corinth Canal, then visit the Monastery of Saint Potapios, Lake Vouliagmeni, and the Iraion monument. By evening, you'll be at the Church of Panagia Tripiti to see the Great Monday celebration.

Aigion to Kalavryta
Take the historic cog railway up to Kalavryta, traveling through mountain scenery. Visit the sacred hill with its memorial to 1943, then tour the Monastery of Saint Lavra where Greek independence was declared in 1821. Later, attend a Byzantine-style service at Mega Spilaeon Monastery.

Kalavryta to Dimitsana
Depart early to see the Caves of the Lakes and the village of Vitina. Walk through the dramatic Lousios Gorge and check out the clifftop Monastery of Saint John the Baptist. You'll also visit the 10th-century Philosophou Church and wander through Dimitsana village with its Open-Air Water Power Museum. Evening includes Holy Wednesday hymns at the village church.

Dimitsana to Monemvasia
Drive to Sparta region and explore Mystras, a UNESCO site with Byzantine churches and palaces spread across the hillside. See the Leonidas statue in Sparta itself, then continue to Monemvasia to walk the narrow streets of this castle city and visit historic churches. That evening, attend a service featuring the reading of twelve gospels and a symbolic crucifixion ceremony.

- Day 7
Monemvasia to Areopolis
Travel to the Mani peninsula starting with Gytheion and Kranai island. This is the most important fast day of Holy Week, so meals stay simple throughout the day. You'll explore the Caves of Diros and Areopolis with its stone buildings and tight streets. In the evening, sing Byzantine hymns at the cathedral and participate in the Epitaph procession through town.

Spend the afternoon in Tripoli's historic center, then at midnight head to Pano Chrepas Monastery at 1,300 meters for the Easter resurrection celebration. Light candles, exchange traditional greetings, then enjoy mageiritsa soup and the tradition of cracking red eggs.

Athens to Aegina
Take a boat out to Aegina island in the Saronic Gulf. Grab coffee at a port café and walk around the harbor area, then visit the Temple of Apollo and the archaeological museum. You'll also see the Monastery of Agios Nektarios and climb Palaia Chora hill with its collection of churches before returning to Athens by boat.
