- Carmen· September 25th, 2024What a trip! We had everything, thrown at us, and the tour operator (Inga) and the bus driver (Victor) had it all handled. Plan A, B and C they called it! There were some tough days, (crazy weather, a/c issues, health issues) but they made sure you had a smile on your face at all times. I highly recommend, going with Tour Radar. I'm going to do another trip with them, next year, this time, maybe India? Thanks for the memories...Inga and Victor, you rock!!!Show moreExpat Explore Travel commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your experience with us and for rating us 5-stars! - TATheresa· October 9th, 2023We just got back from the Best of Europe (22 day tour) and it was an amazing experience, but group travel is not for everyone. If you want to meet new people to explore Europe with & can handle being on a schedule - then group travel is for you. If you want to isolate yourself, have trouble with compromise, and are looking to complain about your fellow travelers and the tour guide - then group travel is not for you. Emma (tour guide) was amazing and reminded professional throughout the tour. She was always willing to answer questions and give a quick history & language lesson about the different cities in Europe. She made the entire trip enjoyable and manageable as she is an excellent communicator. As for the tour itself, there are a lot of cities and, at times, it's hard to keep them straight - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This tour gives you a good sense of what Europe is like and where one may want to visit again. The hotels, at times, were located outside of the cities which was a little frustrating, but there was plenty of transportation options. It should also be noted that there is a great deal of walking on the tour which is also not for everyone. TLDR: It's a great tour for the money!Show moreTrip date: September 2023
- MMonte Gerald· July 23rd, 2023The true hero of our tour was the coach driver Silvian. He worked tirelessly to load and unload all the tour participants’ luggage, and then drove hundreds of miles to our destinations. He got us there safely and on time. The downside to the tour was what we viewed as a lack of professionalism on the part of the tour leader who appeared to form favoritisms among some of the tour participants. This was particularly true among one of the passengers in particular, who she treated as her “assistant”. This individual engaged in public drunkenness at some of our group dinners where alcoholic drinks were available. The tour is more dropped and picked up situation. We were robbed at a destination in Italy of the equivalent of $700 USD. When the tour was ending, and the tour leader sent out solicitations for tips. We gave the amount we could afford to Silvian; who we felt was the most deserving.Show moreTrip date: June 2023
- shahid· September 8th, 2022I have been fortunate to have gone on many tours and without a doubt this was one of the best ever. The itinerary hit literally every attraction I wanted to visit including some fascinating places off the beaten track like cosy little restraunts and optional excurcions. The tour guide Branden was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The hotels were comfortable and varied. I met some amazing people on the tour I'll never forget. I feel the tour gave me everything I wanted from Europe and more. I will definitely travel again with Expat Explore and recommend them highly. 10/10 for meShow moreTrip date: August 2022

As a solo traveler I was exitced to see eupour and it was my first time and to start tour, but within the first hour Luke’s enthusiasm and easy-going attitude. - Jennifer· February 7th, 2019I absolutely loved this tour! It was my first time traveling with a large group, but the way everything is organized, and having an amazing tour leader, it was very comfortable. There were so many things to see and do. You do spend a very long time on the bus, and there are many early mornings, but I think this tour is a great way to get a taste of Europe. I will definitely use Expat again.Show moreTrip date: September 2018

Asked on May 5th, 2025Is this suitable for a solo traveller ? Is there a cost difference. Do you know what travel agents in New Zealand are able to book this tour?. Do you have discounted solo traveller costs for certain times of the year?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Our Tours are indeed popular for Solo Travelers and since the package is for a Twin Share Accommodations, solo travelers will be paired with another solo traveler (of the same Gender) and share a room. But we do offer a limited number of Single Room Upgrades for Solo Travelers who do not wish to share a room throughout the entire tour, and this is offered at an additional cost.

Asked on April 30th, 2025I am looking for a budget-friendly tour in both time and cost to the Baltic and Scandinavian regions. I have a preference for the "Northern Explorer" tour, but I would like a more affordable option. I would like to visit the following countries Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. I also plan to explore Moscow and St. Petersburg (on my own or tour-if I find one). I found tours. Northern Explorer (I like the segment from Amsterdam or Copenhagen to Helsinki or Vilnius). Question 1. Is it possible to take the Northern Explorer in segments, specifically from Amsterdam or Copenhagen to Helsinki or Vilnius? Please advise. Question 2. Could you please provide suggestions on how to make this trip more economical? I am available to travel until October 1st, and my dates are flexible. I can travel on short notice. Do you have any recommendations?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Travelers can choose to join the tour late or end it early based on whichever part of the itinerary you wish to join and end the tour at, but since we are selling our tours as a package, the price will still be the same.

Asked on April 21st, 2025Is there any way to add 2 more nights in Switzerland because we want to do bungee jumping in Switzerland. I know this is a group tour so we can't customize. But is there any way we can stop our journey from Belgium and head back to Switzerland by flight. And if possible can we add another package right after this tour that provides Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
You are more than welcome to end the tour anywhere you wish to as long as you inform your tour leader of this information whilst on tour. Take note the price will still remain the same if you decide to end your tour earlier as the prices are fixed. Regrettably we do not assist with pre- and post-accommodation. Regarding private tours, the one that you are specifically seeking, we do not have a tour like that in our portfolio.
