Itinerary
- Day 1
Akagera National Park
After breakfast, you'll head out on a game drive through Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda to see the savannah and spot wildlife. Lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and zebras roam across the park, and if luck's on your side, you might catch a glimpse of black rhinos. The area also works really well for birdwatching since it has woodland, swamps, lakes, and open savannah all in one place.

- Day 2
Akagera to Nyungwe
Start early with breakfast, then drive toward Nyungwe forest. Along the way, you'll stop at Nyanza King's Palace and the National Museum of Butare, then explore the historic Nyanza compound where the ancient Rwanda Kingdom was based. The modern palace King Mutara built in 1934 sits there with traditional mats and utensils decorating the rooms.

- Day 3
Nyungwe to Kigali
After breakfast, you'll enter Nyungwe forest to track colobus monkeys with guides who know the area well and can explain the forest's plants, birds, and how animals interact. Later, head back to the guest house for lunch, then drive back to Kigali.
