I would especially recommend our tour guide Hammdi who was exceptionally well informed not only on historical matters but generally on anything related to Tunisia. The program is dense but we were offered to take breaks several times - which we did not take, because we wanted to explore as much as we could. So if you're a curious person that is interested in the culture and history of Tunisia and open for a slightly different experience than what usual tourist tours provide, this one is definitly for you!Show more
- Anslie· July 11th, 2025I am going to contradict Yu’s review! This is an excellent tour and all days were very interesting. She was a very difficult and demanding passenger and caused problems for me and the leader, Ben, and driver, Ali. They were excellent in trying to accommodate her “expectations”. There was a problem with the vehicle because at first she insisted her bag was not waterproof and couldn’t be on the roof. It took up a seat. Once it was put up and covered by a tarpaulin, still 3 of us had to sit in the middle seats and one person in the back although it should have been 2,2. The middle seats and was small and very uncomfortable, she insisted she always be in a proper seat. There were numerous phone calls to the operator to rectify matters and pacify her. Ben and Ali were excellent in their jobs. Ali was super friendly and helpful.Show more

Asked on March 19th, 2025Are there any places left on the May 1st tour? I intend to land in Tunis late that evening and your tour itinerary looks fantastic. Also, is it possible to leave the tour on the last day - I plan to stay in Tunis one extra day (near La Medina) so would not need to be brought to the airport on day 6.

Asked on April 17th, 2023Are you able to pick us up/drop us off from our hotel in Tunis? Do the 4x4 vehicles have air conditioning? It says the 4x4 has a 6 passenger max, so does that mean our group of 6 will be in two vehicles? Is it possible for our group to pay individually for the trip or is it better to pay all together? Lastly, do people usually tip at the end in cash, if so how much roughly?

We can provide the extra transfers on the 12th and on the 19th of July from/to the airport of Tunis Carthage to your hotel of stay in Tunis. The rate per person and per way is 25USD in a minivan for 6 travelers. All our vehicles are air-conditioned, surely it will be turned on during the month of July as it gets pretty hot then. For a party of 6, we will provide two 4x4, two drivers and one guide. The payment can be made individually, each traveler can be allocated his/her amount to pay here on your booking page. Tipping is encouraged at the end of the tour, depending on your satisfaction of the services provided by the drivers and the guide of course. It is most common to tip around 7usd per traveler per day.
