    Oujda

    You'll arrive at Oujda Airport where your tour manager meets you and the group. After checking into your hotel and getting a briefing on what's ahead, you'll head out to explore the old city. The afternoon takes you through Bab El Ouahab, Saint Louis Cathedral, The Great Mosque, and the Click Tower. You'll wrap up the day with dinner back at your hotel.

    Oujda to Bouarfa

    This morning starts with a 4x4 expedition across the Jebel Metsila massif, passing through the Berber village of Guenfouda on the way to Jbel Bou Keltoum. You'll stop at Rass el Ain springs and the Cascades of Benimathar before moving through the stony desert landscape to Borj of Trarite Rhars Allah, where locals will host you for mint tea. From there, you head to Tendrara and then Bouarfa where you'll set up camp for two nights. Dinner happens in Bouarfa town.

    Bouarfa to Figuig Oasis to Bouarfa

    After breakfast, you'll trek to Figuig Oasis on the Morocco-Algeria border. The day involves hiking down footpaths to check out the oases of Zenaga, Merires, and old town Figuig, where you'll experience authentic Saharan life surrounded by dense palm groves and adobe hamlets. A local family will host you for lunch at a typical Kasbah. Later in the afternoon, you'll hike back to camp in Bouarfa.

    Bouarfa to Meski

    Following breakfast, you continue trekking to Boudnib and then to the lush oasis of Meski. You'll visit the valley of Ziz palm grove and canyons of El Kenz, then do some mild hiking on trails leading to Ksar Jdid Ait Amira. After walking around Zaouia Jdida and Douirat oasis, you'll stop for tea at a local Kasbah at Brj Yerdi before returning by Land Rover to Meski Oasis for dinner and evening relaxation.

    Meski to Merzouga to Meski

    You'll wake before dawn and travel to Merzouga dunes to see the sunrise in the Sahara. After riding camels back to Kasbah Leila for breakfast, you'll take Land Cruisers to Rissani to visit this holy city and historic caravan trading center with a local guide. Lunch happens at a Rissani Kasbah, then you'll return to Meski and check out Erfoud city souks. The evening includes dinner and local Saharan music at Miloud's house at Meski Ksar, finishing with a walk back to camp.

    Meski to Tinghir

    After breakfast, you travel to Tinghir where a local mountain guide leads you on a tour of old adobe villages and sun-baked brick Kasbahs in the Valley of Todra. You'll do an adventure hike through Todra Valley exploring ancient life and the history of Judaism among Ait Atta Berber tribes. Following lunch straight from the Todra Canyons, you'll do some mild hiking around Todra Mountains in the afternoon. Then you return to Tinghir for dinner and an overnight stay at Kasbah Lamrani.

After driving through lowlands and mountain passes to Tamegroute, you'll visit the famous Moorish Koranic Library with rare books and documents, some written on gazelle hide from the 13th century. Later, you continue through sandy terrain along Draa Valley to the dunes of M'Hamid El Ghizlanes. You'll camp near Iriki Lake set over surrounding dunes for the night under African skies.
