- DPDawn· September 24th, 2025Tour was well planned. Some days felt rushed. The day to MP we stopped for lunch, we were dropped off at different locations in groups of two or three. Lunch felt rushed. During the trip to MP I was affected by the train strike, Kantu sent a driver to Ollanlaytambu who only spoke Spanish, aware that a bilingual driver would be preferred. Luckily while stuck at AC there were people in the crowd who were able to translate the call with the driver. Hotel was Jose Antonio, was good with a variety of options for breakfast, it was about a 20 minute uphill walk to Plaza de Armas. I personally prefer to have the same group throughout the tour as a solo traveler. Helps connecting with people. I ended up alone in the evenings. I think this tour is a good option of couples or families, not much fun for solo travelers. Tour guides where amazing (Oliver, Roul, Andre, Wayki) except for Rafael. We were only 2 English speaking girls, Rafael lost us twice, instruction was unclear, he explained very minimum in English. Other tour company's guide helped us to find him. Hotel in Aguas Calinetes was much better than in Cusco. Tour coach was comfortable, drivers were good.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

For September for Machupicchu, tickets for the Classic Circuit of Machu Picchu on your requested date are currently sold out on the government's official website. We are pleased to offer you two alternative options: Circuit 1 – Panoramic Viewpoint and Circuit 3 + "Realeza Diseñada". If you arrive at 1 am in the morning, you will need an extra night for your arrival.

That means that you hace to walk to visit the sites, but most of them have inca stairs to be visited. The unique difficult hike is Humantay lake. Its almost 4 hours round trip hike but you can rent a horse. Rainbow mountain the same but the hike is only 30 min way up and 20 min way down. Also you can rent a horse or rent a motorbike in the same place.
