Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Pokhara
Your journey starts early from Kathmandu as you travel roughly 200 km to Pokhara. The drive takes about 7 hours along mountain roads, and breakfast is included along the way. You'll pass through changing landscapes as you head south, eventually arriving in Pokhara by late afternoon.

- Day 2
Pokhara to Nayapul to Tikhedunga
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out by private jeep or local bus toward Nayapul, which takes around an hour and a half. From there, the trek begins with a 3-4 hour hike to Tikhedunga. The trail crosses a suspension bridge and winds through green village scenery with terraced fields and local settlements along the way.

Tikhedunga to Ghorepani
Today you trek to Ghorepani, a former trading post that's now a popular stopping point for trekkers. The village sits in two sections, and the higher part gives you panoramic views of Annapurna South and Nilgirl mountains. Expect cool temperatures at this altitude in the evenings, so bring extra layers for your overnight stay.

Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani
Start before dawn to hike up to Poon Hill at 3,210m and catch sunrise over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Lamjung mountains. The views from the top are really something. After heading back to Ghorepani for breakfast, you'll continue downhill through forests of rhododendron and pine trees, eventually reaching Tadapani at 2,625m.

Tadapani to Chomrong
The trek today follows the Kimrong River trail toward Chomrong, sitting at 2,020m. Along the way, you'll get views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli Peak, and Machapuchare Mountain. The trail goes up and down through the river valley, and the scenery shifts as you gain and lose elevation throughout the day.

Chomrong to Dovan
From Chomrong, you'll trek to Dovan on terrain that mixes uphill and downhill sections. The trail takes you through thick rhododendron forests where steep stone steps appear in places, making this a more challenging day of hiking. The forest canopy keeps things cool, though the rocky footing requires careful steps in parts.

Dovan to Deurali (Machapuchare Base Camp)

Take your time on this section since the air gets thinner at altitude, and your body will need time to adjust to the elevation.

Annapurna Base Camp

- Day 9
Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo Village
The trek back to Bamboo Village begins today. When you arrive, the local villagers welcome you warmly with a hot meal and share stories about their ancestors and village life. Later, you can rest by the riverside and listen to the sound of the water and the crackle of the fire, reflecting on your trek so far.

Landmarks Bamboo Village - Day 10
Bamboo Village to Pokhara
Starting from Chomrong with its views of Annapurna South, you'll descend to Jhinu where there's a natural hot spring for a relaxing soak. From there, cross the Modi Khola River and continue walking through Landruk, Pothana, and Phedi. By evening, you'll make it back to Pokhara where you can properly rest after the trek.

Trek to Pokhara and Rest
After an early start, you'll head downhill and cross the Kimrong River on the final section back to Pokhara. The route passes through Siwai with beautiful views of mountains and green valleys opening up around you. The descent takes several hours, and by afternoon you'll be back in Pokhara where you can relax and recover.

Pokhara to Kathmandu with Sightseeing
You'll take a scenic bus ride from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, traveling through Nepal's lush hills and valleys. Once in Kathmandu, check out Swayambhunath Stupa, Durbar Square, and Pashupatinath Temple to see the city's major landmarks. Later, wander through Thamel's bustling streets to try local food and browse shops for souvenirs and handicrafts.
