- SKSteven· October 3rd, 2022Tour activities were amazing. We were able to experience the culture and history of Peru firsthand and in detail. The guides were fantastic. The only problem was the lack of coordination between the tour operator and the guides. We had to wait in line for hours for Machu Picchu tickets that could have been avoided with better communication. Likewise, the guides seemed to receive conflicting information at times from the operator. Accommodations were adequate although there is an inexplicable absence of toilet paper and soap for guests in Peru. Food was excellent. I would recommend this tour but warn it is not for the less physically fit traveler.Show moreTrip date: September 2022
- monique· September 21st, 2020We are a group of 8 friends went on a 7 days in Cusco Peru which included:City Tour, Sacred Valley, White water rafting, zip lining, bike riding and hiking! Each day brought a new adventure that was completely handled by our guide (Yang) and his team. I must say that this tour is for adventure lovers if it is worth doing this contains full adrenaline. The Guide and the driver were very friendly people who help you at all times. I definitely felt at ease and it was worth doing this tour with Inca Explorer Peru, highly recommended.Show moreTrip date: March 2020

- Carla· September 13th, 2020We had a group of 8 people doing to 7D/6N tour. The 7 day jungle trek was totally epic and I would highly recommend this tour if you are seeking adventure and new experiences. This trek has the perfect mix of adrenaline culture and fun. and it is also cheaper than other treks offered in Cusco. So if you want to have a great adventure with a lot of adrenaline and especially ending in Machu picchu, do this trek. We learned about the history and culture of Peru while hiking/biking/zip-lining/whitewater rafting to some amazing views! All hotels and food are included. the Peruvian cuisine was amazing! Highly recommend!Show moreTrip date: March 2020

- CTCatriona· July 10th, 2019More communication is needed between companies as our booking was so confusing and we found ourselves not knowing what to take and how to transport luggage etc. Our guide was not great at communicating and he often left us to do activities ourselves - for example during the mountain biking he left half-way through as he was cold which meant we had to self-navigate in the rain and down a road. Our accomodation was terrible before Machu Picchu - no windows, shower was boiling, toilet door didn’t close so the water leaked onto room floor and drenched everything that we had left on floor. We also had so many extra costs that we were told didn’t exist. For example, on day 3 of trek we were all given option to walk the final leg or pay to get bus. I chose to walk and got ready and asked Gustavo but he said I had to get bus because he and group didn’t want to walk - this annoyed me. Machu Picchu was incredible but again we were told we had a private guide to walk through the ruins and explain the history. In reality, this ‘private guide’ was one person who stood in one spot and talked to us for 15 minutes about things we had already covered in tour. All in all, I recommend booking when you are in Cusco as we paid an astronomical amount compared to everyone else on the tour. Do not pay more than $150 USD for the 4-day jungle tour! We had fun but if we weren’t on to the organisation side of our trip it could have been even messier!Show moreInca Explorer Peru commented on this reviewHi!
