Ooty and Coonoor were peaceful respites from the hustle and bustle. Our guides were excellent, especially in explaining the local traditions and culture. Our tour driver ensured we were safe and well looked after throughout. Hotels were generally comfortable, though I’d have preferred a few more upscale options.Show more

The hotels were mostly good, with clean rooms, though a few were a bit basic. The driver was fantastic always punctual. Ranthambore was a refreshing break from the cities with its wildlife and peaceful nature. The boat trip in Varanasi was a highlight and very moving. Highly recommend for first-timers to India.Show more

Asked on June 1st, 2025What are the hotels and if possible to upgrade at additional cost. Can we confirm an elephant ride in Jaipur and a private boat ride in Varanasi? Can we exchange the flight from Varanasi to Delhi to Varanasi to Kolkata? For the Delhi to Varanasi flight, can we upgrade to business class so that our 23 kg each person luggage can be accomodated?

Hotels normally don't have open balcony due to security reasons. Business class offers 25 Kg luggage. Ranthambore has 3 safaris - 1 morning and 2 afternoon in jeep or truck. A guide will be with you at Taj Mahal grounds only.
