Asked on September 27th, 2022Will vegetarian/vegan food be available throughout the trip? I have read that finding vegetarian / vegan food is difficult in Laos and Thailiand. Also, what are the visa requirements for Indians? Is on arrival visa available for both countries?

Vegan food is very, very difficult to accommodate in these destinations as fish sauce and shrimp paste are typically the basis for almost all of their food. Vegetarian meals with just 'no meat' can be accommodated, but your options will be extremely limited. For Thailand, most nationalities do not need a visa for stays of 30 days or less. Laos visas are issued upon arrival, requiring two passport size photographs and approx $50.
