    Tour Details
    • G AdventuresOperatorWritten October 2025

This tour is a part of our 18-30somethings travel style, which is only available for travellers between the ages of 18 - 39 to book onto. Our other travel styles, such as Classic, Active, National Geographic Journeys, etc., do not have any age restrictions. We do not have an itinerary that exactly replicated, but you may take a look at: Northern Thailand Hilltribes Trek.

  • L

    Asked on December 28th, 2024

Me and my wife are in our early 50's, can we bend the rules on the age restrictions

    Age Range
    • G AdventuresOperatorWritten December 2024

unfortunately not, our 18-39 travel style is for first time, like minded travellers who want to backpack together in large dorms so we're unable to extend it beyond the age range.

  • S

    Steve

    Asked on September 27th, 2022

Will vegetarian/vegan food be available throughout the trip? I have read that finding vegetarian / vegan food is difficult in Laos and Thailiand. Also, what are the visa requirements for Indians? Is on arrival visa available for both countries?

    Meals
    Visa
    • G AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2022

Vegan food is very, very difficult to accommodate in these destinations as fish sauce and shrimp paste are typically the basis for almost all of their food. Vegetarian meals with just 'no meat' can be accommodated, but your options will be extremely limited. For Thailand, most nationalities do not need a visa for stays of 30 days or less. Laos visas are issued upon arrival, requiring two passport size photographs and approx $50.
