Marrakech to Dades Valley
Your hotel or riad is where you'll start this morning with pickup. From there, you're heading across the High Atlas Mountains to reach Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where a guide will walk you through the site. After that, you'll drive to Ouarzazate and grab lunch. The afternoon takes you toward Boumalne Dades, and you'll follow along the Dades River as you go, with the sunset providing nice views along the way. You'll reach your accommodation in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert
Breakfast happens at your accommodation this morning. Then you're off to Tinghir oasis for a leisurely walk along the river bank heading toward Todgha Gorges, roughly an hour of walking on the path known as 1001 Kasbahs. You'll have some free time to take in the surroundings before lunch. In the afternoon, you head to Merzouga where a camel caravan is waiting for you. The sunset camel trek through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi comes next, and by evening you'll be at your luxury desert camp having a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars while local musicians play by the campfire.

Merzouga to Fes
If you're interested in catching the desert sunrise, you can wake early from camp. After breakfast, you're traveling through a palm-filled oasis with ancient fortified ksours along the Ziz River heading to Midelt, a small Atlas Mountain village where lunch happens. In the afternoon, you'll continue toward Fes across the Middle Atlas Mountains. The landscape changes quite a bit during this drive, shifting from rocky desert terrain to snow-capped peaks, cedar forests, and green vegetation. You'll arrive at your riad or hotel in Fes by early evening, wrapping up your desert tour.
