Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival to Cartagena
Meet at Adrenaline HQ by 8am to start things off. You'll ride 225km across completely paved roads over 4.5 hours, which moves pretty well. During lunch you'll stop at the beach in Puerto Colombia to grab food and recharge. After that, head into Cartagena's old city and climb up the historic walls to catch the sunset from up there. Finish the evening with dinner somewhere in the old downtown area.

- Day 2
Cartagena to Rincon del Mar
This morning starts with a walking tour through Cartagena's old town, checking out the colonial buildings and narrow streets. Then you'll get on the bike for 120km to Rincon del Mar, taking 3.5 hours on terrain that's mostly paved with just a bit of unpaved sections. Grab lunch on the beach once you arrive. For your afternoon, you can either try stand-up paddleboarding or just chill on the sand and watch the sunset.

Rincon del Mar to Mompox
Start the day with breakfast right on the beach before you head out. You'll cover 230km over 4.5 hours on roads that are mostly paved with some unpaved stretches mixed in. The route takes you to a wooden ferry that crosses through swamps leading into Mompox, a colonial town with real character and history. Later on you'll take an evening boat tour through the swamps to see the area differently. Wrap up with dinner at El Fuerte restaurant.

Landmarks Mompox - Day 4
Mompox to Pueblo Bello
Kick off with a breakfast experience at San Sebastian where you'll actually eat alongside baby crocodiles, stingrays, and turtles. Then ride 200km over 5 hours through terrain that mixes paved and unpaved roads. After leaving Mompox's swamp area behind, you'll arrive in Pueblo Bello, a small mountainous village where they grow most of the region's coffee.

Landmarks San Sebastian Pueblo Bello - Day 5
Pueblo Bello to Nabusimake
This is the tough riding day on the schedule. You'll cover 130km but it takes 6 hours because the terrain is mostly unpaved and rocky. Head up to the indigenous village of Nabusimake where you'll meet an Arhuaco guide who shows you around and talks about their culture and how the community operates. After exploring, head to Donde Siempre Restaurant for dinner.

Nabusimake to Desert
You'll cover 275km in just 1.5 hours, though the terrain varies quite a bit with both paved and unpaved sections. Stop at Balneario el Salto to swim and dive around. Then you head into the desert for some intense riding that feels pretty wild and raw. End the day with fresh lobster or shrimp for dinner.

Rest Day
This is your first full rest day and it happens to be at one of the nicest spots on the whole tour. You get to choose how to spend it. Try kite surfing, go snorkeling, or just relax on the beach and let your body recover.

Desert Riding to Indigenous Ranch
Leave early in the morning to avoid the worst heat. You'll ride 120km over 4.5 hours on completely unpaved terrain, which gives you real enduro riding with hard-packed ground, sandy sections, and rocky climbs. Check out the massive Taroa Sand Dunes during the day. By evening you'll watch the sun drop from the beach where you're staying at an indigenous ranch.

- Day 9
Desert to Riohacha
This is a long and serious riding day covering 250km over 7 hours. Terrain is mostly unpaved with a few paved sections. You'll reach el Faro de Punta Gallinas, the northernmost point of South America. Then you ride back through a sandstorm toward Riohacha, which sits at the edge of the desert.

Half-Rest Day at Cayena Beach Villa
Start with a flamingo tour in a bird sanctuary early on. After that, you'll ride just 130km over 2 hours on completely paved roads to reach Cayena Beach Villa, which is a luxury spot. Once you arrive, the day is yours to relax. Massages and drink service come highly recommended for this afternoon and evening.

- Day 11
Cayena Beach Villa to El Rio Hostel
Sleep in and spend your morning at the resort relaxing. Later you'll head out for 100km of riding over 4 hours. The route includes mixed enduro riding around the Quebrada del Sol goat trail with a lot of unpaved terrain. After riding, cool off with unlimited tubing on the Buritaca River. You'll sleep at El Rio Hostel, which has won several awards.

Jungle to Cacao Farm to Beyonda Homestay
After a relaxed morning by the river, head into the jungle for a 120km ride taking 4 hours on a mix of paved and unpaved roads. Stop at an organic cacao farm where you'll make your own chocolate from scratch. Then ride to Caoba wildlife reserve with its plants and animals from the Amazon region. The day ends at Beyonda Homestay, which has a pool, great views, and a laid-back feel.

Jungle to Minca
Take the backroads up to Minca on a 120km ride over 5 hours. The terrain is mostly unpaved, which makes it slower but more interesting. Stop at Marinka waterfall and hike up to Los Pinos viewpoint at 1,200m elevation for some perspective. Grab lunch at Camaritas restaurant where they serve traditional Colombian barbecue. You'll stay at Casas Viejas Guesthouse, which has an infinity pool and hot showers.

- Day 14
Minca to Coffee Farm to Santa Marta
Set your alarm for 4am because you're doing a night ride up to Lan Lorenzo weather station to catch the sunrise over snow-capped peaks. The 150km takes 4 hours through challenging terrain that's almost entirely unpaved. Once the sun comes up, visit La Victoria coffee farm, which is the oldest one in northern Colombia. Have lunch in Minca and then head back to Santa Marta by mid-afternoon.
