- Hetvi· September 4th, 2025I had a great time doing the short inca trail. Also big thanks to Kate, our tour guide for sharing the history and giving a personal insight to the culture and spirituality of the incas. Enjoyed the food prepared by the chefs during the hike. Had a great team to hike up to macchu picchu with. Would definitely visit again and explore other parts of cusco with Trexperience.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

- Senka· August 19th, 2025Jason and Elias are the best guide team anyone could ever ask for. They created an excellent team atmosphere while, at the same time, taking care of every detail and passing on the knowledge of history, flora, fauna, and everyday life.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- TMTaylor· July 31st, 2025This was an amazing tour! Our guide Kate and the chefs and porters were great! Everyone was so nice. The food was amazing. I did the camping option and it was so much fun! I loved it.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- Rabea· July 18th, 2025We had a really nice experience with our tour guides JJ and William. JJ has told us a lot about the different places we have visited during the hike. The tour in general was it really worth especially since we have seen the place Winaywayna which we would not have seen only by visiting the Machu Picchu.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- EKElizabeth· July 18th, 2025JJ and William were great tour guides. I’m very slow and they would regularly let me know that they want me to enjoy and not rush. One would be with the normal paced group and one would walk in the back with me. I appreciated them very much. All the food was delicious for all meals. JJ does a great job setting expectations and making sure we understand where to go and when. He has eyes in the back of his head and knows where every one of us are at all times.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- Anna· July 18th, 2025It was just amazing. The views, the food, our tour Guide (JJ) was just amazing. Now other words for me as saying the Tour was amazing and I can highly recommend it.Show moreTrip date: July 2025

- Rachel· May 13th, 2025This was such a beautiful experience, MP really is a sacred and special place and my guides Vicente and Renato made sure that every detail was in place so we didn’t have to worry about anything and could simply fully enjoy the entire experience. Vicente has so much incredible knowledge with a spicy delivery ;) and it made things even more engaging and memorable. Both made me feel so cared for and part of a community. From the transport, to the hike, to the insanely good food, to the great hotel, to the party train on the way back, I can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t absolute perfection. I can’t recommend this hike enough!Show moreTrip date: May 2025

Asked on April 19th, 2025Would it be possible to be picked up from Cusco on the 30th of November and join the tour on 1st of December?
- TreXperienceOperator•Written April 2025
Yes, it's absolutely possible to travel to Aguas Calientes a day earlier to acclimatize. We can arrange your train ticket from Cusco (or Ollantaytambo) to Aguas Calientes on November 30th, and you would join the group tour to Machu Picchu on December 1st, or we can add an extra day and night and you can join the tour on Decembe 2nd.

Traveler•Written April 2025Which tour should I book in that case? The one for the 30th of November or 1st of December?
- TreXperienceOperator•Written April 2025
The best option would be to start your trek on November 30. Could you please confirm whether you would like to book the extra night in Aguas Calientes on your own, or if you'd prefer that we assist with the accommodation?
