- Day 1
Embarkation
Board the MS Lafayette at 5 p.m. and get settled in your cabin. There's a welcome cocktail to meet the crew, then the ship departs at 7 p.m. heading toward Mannheim. Evening entertainment keeps things going as you start sailing.

- Day 2
Rüdesheim
You'll arrive in Mannheim early in the morning. If you're interested, there's an optional trip to Heidelberg to see the red sandstone castle, check out the massive wine barrel (34,342 gallons), and visit the Friedrich Building. After that, the ship cruises along the Neckar and Rhine Rivers, getting you to Rüdesheim by evening where the lively Drosselgasse area is right nearby.

Cochem
Rüdesheim offers an optional guided tour with a vineyard tour on a tourist train and wine tasting at the historic Bassenheimer Hof. You can also visit Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet, which sits in a 15th-century building. Later, the ship takes you through the Rhine Valley where you'll see castles, ruins, and vineyards. By evening, you'll have cruised the Moselle River and arrived in Cochem with entertainment onboard.

Trier
Cochem Castle is available for an optional guided tour (it's a Neo-Gothic structure from around 1000 AD, reached by mini-bus). After the castle, you have free time to walk through the city's narrow streets, see the half-timbered homes, check out the historic square and ancient walls. Getting back to the ship is on foot. The afternoon brings a cruise heading to Trier.

Remich
You're in Trier overnight. There's an optional guided tour that covers the city's Roman history including the amphitheater, imperial baths, Roman basilica, and the Porta Nigra gate. After that tour, you get free time to explore on your own before heading back to the ship. Later in the afternoon, the ship cruises the Sarre and Moselle Rivers toward Remich with evening entertainment.

Luxembourg City - Remich
This morning has an optional winery tour at Caves St. Martin where you'll taste sparkling wines and walk through underground passages. Remich gives you free time to explore the 'Pearl of the Moselle' and its promenade. If you want, there's an optional afternoon coach tour of Luxembourg City covering Place des Armes, Place de la Constitution, the Corniche, the old city, the Grand Ducal Palace exterior, and Place Guillaume II. Everyone returns to Remich for a festive gala dinner.
