Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll be picked up at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by BUNA staff and driven to your hotel. Your guide will walk you through the hotel setup, give you information about the city and trekking details, and explain what you can expect during your time in Nepal.

Kathmandu
After your first night in Kathmandu, you'll take a half day guided tour of the city's main attractions. You'll get back to your hotel with time to prepare for trekking, which kicks off the next morning.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
Following an early breakfast, you'll travel by air or deluxe coach to Pokhara along a scenic highway through the Himalayan foothills. Once you arrive, you'll be transferred to your hotel right on Lake Phewa shore with time for a short walk around the lakeside area.

Pokhara to Nayapul to Bhirethati
A two hour drive gets you to Nayapul, the gateway to Annapurna. Your trek begins here along the Modi River upstream, passing through villages and farmland with gradual slopes. You'll walk through Bhirethati and keep climbing toward Hille and Tirkhedhunga.

Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani
About an hour of steep stone steps takes you up to Ulleri, a charming Gurung village with traditional slate-roofed houses. From there, the trail heads through cool forests of rhododendron, magnolia, oaks and pine, eventually reaching Ghorepani where you'll sleep with views of the Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna South.

Ghorepani to Tadapani
Start early with a one hour hike to Pun Hill to watch sunrise over eight major Himalayan peaks (if weather cooperates). You'll head back to Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani, walking through thick rhododendron forests and small villages. Grab lunch along the way, then continue to Tadapani, which sits with views of Annapurna South, Annapurna II and IV.

Tadapani to Nayapul to Pokhara
Trek downhill through forests with occasional Annapurna range views, passing through small villages until you reach Ghandrung for lunch. After that, keep going downhill to Syauli Bazaar alongside the Modi River and finish at Nayapul. From there, a jeep ride takes you back to Pokhara.

Pokhara to Chitwan (Sauraha)
After breakfast around 6:30am, you'll drive to the tourist bus stop for roughly 5 to 6 hours to reach Sauraha. Check in to your hotel and clean up. After lunch, take a walk through a Tharu village to learn about Tharu cultural history. Later in the evening, head along the Rapti River for sunset views.

Landmarks/POIs Rapti River - Day 9
Sauraha (Chitwan National Park)
After breakfast, a jeep takes you to the river for canoeing where you might spot crocodiles, birds, and rhinos. Later, you'll ride elephants for about an hour and a half into the national park jungle to see birds, deer, one-horned rhinos, and other wildlife. After lunch and a rest, you'll visit the elephant breeding center and go on a jeep safari. You'll end the day with a Tharu cultural show before heading back to your hotel.

Chitwan (Sauraha) to Kathmandu
After breakfast at 7:30am, the bus leaves for Kathmandu, taking about 6 hours for the drive. When you arrive, you'll check in to your hotel.
