Trip date: April 2024 - KRKatia· December 1st, 2023I am very happy with the trip, especially the great support from the tour guide, Mr Tenzin during kora. To be honest, I am not able to finish my kora without his support and our group team is also great, even though we come from other countries we are quite good at collaborating together. The only concern I do have is the restroom facility during kora, but I do believe that this belongs to the hotel platform, not under your control. Thanks for excellent service and cooperation proving by Great Tibet Tour. I will contact Great Tibet Tour for my next China tour in 2022. We have two guides for the whole tour. One is Dajie who picks us up at the airport; the other is Lobsang who helps us with the sightseeing in Tibet. Dajie is fantastic and knowledgeable. Lobsang is humorous and helpful. We are both pleased with these two guides. The guide plays an important role on the whole tour. Our driver is very skillful. We feel safe in his car. Asked on February 4th, 2025Can I please ask if instead of doing Kailash Kora, a trip to Guge kingdom (Tholing Monastery, Dongga and Piyang ruins) can be arranged for me? So I will join the group for Kailash Kora but take a deviation from Darchen to Guge Kingdom and then meet the group at Darchen after they complete the Kora?

The addtinal fee for replacing the trekking with Guge Kingdom is USD1500 (10-day private guide, the food and accommodation of the private guide, the vehicle operating cost, and the cost diffierence of the hotel)

Asked on January 29th, 2025Is it possible to fly straight from the UK to take this tour? Are you able to organise the visas for us? I had really wanted to travel from Nepal but it seems there are very few direct flights from Nepal and they are very expensive. Do you offer tours from Nepal?

You can apply for the China Visa at your nearby Chinese embassy and we can offer you the supporting documents for the visa interview after you book with us.

1. Yes, the local tour guide will accompany you during the 3-day trek. 2. Yes, it includes the guesthouse fee, Travel Agency Liability insurance, and oxygen tank for emergency use. However, the insurance is for the accident, so you can buy one by yourself if you need. 3. You can leave the extra luggage in the vehicle, and trek with a backpack only. 4. There are supply stations during the three-day trek, so don't worry about it. Besides, you can prepare some snacks to provide energy.

1. Yes, however, we only have a confirmed 16-day Lhasa to Mt.Kailash and Guge Kingdom group tour on 17 Oct. It will visit the Guge Kingdom. The price is USD 2494p.p based on 4-star hotels. Would you like to join? 2. The itinerary includes breakfast. Lunch & Dinner are not included but we will recommend some good ones for you according to your requirements. Usually, it takes 4-15 USD per person for each meal.
