- LSLisa· July 25th, 2025⭐ 1 Star Absolutely unacceptable. Do not trust Ramasside Tours with your clients or your travel plans. As a professional travel advisor, I booked multiple high-end private tours with Ramasside for cruise clients visiting Egypt. What followed was a complete disaster—poor service, misleading practices, broken promises, and serious damage to my clients’ once-in-a-lifetime trips. I coordinated Ramasside Tours for 67 clients, and more than 60% experienced major issues. This was not an isolated incident—it was a pattern of disorganization, deception, and complete disregard for guest experience. ❌ Refunds Promised, Never Delivered Multiple clients experienced severe service failures and were promised refunds. Now months have passed, and Ramasside has failed to follow through—despite repeated written confirmations and apologies. ❌ Private Tours Downgraded Without Consent Clients who paid for exclusive, private experiences were informed—sometimes days before, sometimes upon arrival—that they would be combined with other unknown groups, eliminating the VIP nature of the tour. One private group of 10 was merged with another group of 10, directly violating their confirmed agreement. ❌ No Guide Upon Arrival / Dangerous Transport Clients were left stranded in 104°F heat outside the port in Alexandria. No guide, no sign. They were eventually told to get into an unmarked, broken-down van with no seatbelts and no air conditioning. That van overheated on a 10-lane freeway, leaving them roadside for over 2 hours in traffic, without communication or water. ❌ Non-English-Speaking "Guides" Despite booking English-speaking Egyptologist guides, several groups were assigned individuals who could not speak English, had no idea what was included in the itinerary, and failed to explain any cultural or historical context as paid for. ❌ Key Attractions Missed or Mishandled Some clients missed the Sphinx entirely due to poor time management. Others were rushed through the Egyptian Museum, while watching other groups enjoy professional, engaging tours. ❌ Bait-and-Switch Tour Stops Instead of visiting the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar (a listed highlight), groups were taken to commission-based shops—a perfum store, a spice vendor, or an empty souvenir shop where the lights were off until the guide turned them on. This was not part of the itinerary and not requested by anyone. ❌ Hotel Booking Problems One client arrived at a Hilton property to find no reservation under their name. Ramasside also failed to provide the Nile-view room that was promised. The issue was only resolved because the client used their Hilton Diamond status to intervene directly. ❌ No Support During Emergencies In multiple cases, drivers or guides simply didn’t show up, leaving clients panicked and scrambling to figure out what to do. Most clients were forced to skip their Alexandria tours entirely, due to Ramasside’s unreliability. ❌ Zero Accountability Dozens of detailed complaint letters with photos, videos, and documentation were sent to Ramasside. Responses ranged from silence to vague offers of a “discount on a future tour.” That’s an insult, not a resolution. Bottom line: Ramasside completely failed to deliver the premium service that was paid for—multiple times—and then evaded responsibility at every step. Their conduct has damaged client trust, my professional reputation, and their own brand beyond repair. 📢 Travelers beware. If you're considering Ramasside, reconsider. 📢 Travel professionals: protect your clients and your reputation. When 60%+ of travelers on multiple trips report serious issues, this is not a fluke—it’s a systemic failure.Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- EEd· January 27th, 2019We chose the 8 day Egypt and River Nile cruise. Rammaside started to live up to it's stellar reputation the moment we exited our gate at the airport. Where other companies might pick you up outside the airport, our representative greeted us with a smile and company sign in hand. He whisked us through immigration, customs, and the visa process in a flash. We felt special from the start. The VIP treatment continued with the private air conditioned car that was waiting outside for us. At our hotel our rep had us take a seat while he checked us in. Our itinerary for the rest of the week was explained and we were given a copy along with his contact information in the case we needed anything else. The hotel was 5 star and it lived up to its standards. Hot breakfasts were included each morning, with some other meals throughout the tour. We took a food tour our first day to learn what our menu choices would be while we were in country. Waleed became our personal guide at that point and he stayed with us while in Cairo. He was a knowledgeable professional who spoke English well, and he easily adjusted to our needs whether part of the tour or not - things like a stop at the pharmacy or changing our itinerary. Having a personal guide made all the difference in the world when it came to understanding the different culture and seeing 4000 year old sites. He was also invaluable in keeping some of the pesky peddlers at bay. Our cruise ship was also top notch, and although the boat was a bit dated it was nicer than many others we saw on the river. Our room was comfortable and the food was served buffet style, but with a good variety. The overall itinerary was a bit heavy for us, but our guide let us miss or switch up sites with no fuss. We chose to have a private guide on the cruise, a good move to know what was going on each step of the way and to explain as we went. We were treated as VIP's on a private tour the whole time - no sharing buses with a group. When I considered the cost of meals, the cruise, entrance fees to the sites, and transportation to and from everywhere (Cairo airport is an hour drive) the price of our package was an excellent deal. From the managers on line, to the guides and car drivers, I would highly recommend Rammaside to anyone.Show moreTrip date: December 2018
- ICIreas· December 19th, 2018We were disappointed with the tour operator. The meet and greet on arrival was less than satisfactory. We were not provided with entry visas, as promised. We did receive subsequent reimbursement from the tour guide for the cash we paid for the visas. We had emails back and forth with the tour company prior to the trip who assured us that they would have our entry visas upon arrival. It would have been a disaster should we not have the exact US currency cash that was required for the visas. We were not provided the name of the hotel in advance by the tour operator. As such I left the corresponding space empty when completing the required entry forms and was questioned by the Immigration Officer why. We were then hurried out of the airport and did not have an opportunity to stop for currency exchange. One of our suitcases was damaged during transit and because we were rushed to leave the airport, there was not an opportunity for us to check the condition of our suitcases before leaving the luggage area and the airport. As such we were not able to file a claim with the airline for the damage. The hotel we stayed at the first night in Giza does not have any money exchange service nor a bank on site. As such, we found ourselves strapped for local currency for 3 days. Knowing that we would go back to the airport the very next morning to fly from Cairo to Luxor for the cruise, the tour company should have arranged overnight accommodation somewhere downtown rather than in Giza which is located very far away from the airport with terrible traffic. We were not scheduled to visit the Great Pyramid until we returned to Cairo from the Nile cruise so there was absolutely no reason to put us in a hotel in Giza the first night. The above description of our experiences is more than enough for evaluation purposes, although there were more scenarios that made us feel equally disappointed.Show moreTrip date: November 2018
- Jjuand· November 25th, 2018Well don’t hesitate to book with Ramasside they are the best. They want you make sure you feel at ease during your vacation, so anything you have in mind they can work with you. My husband and I loved our vacation, our hotel in Cairo was awesome. The view was amazing. Dalia was our tour guide for the days we were in Cairo & let me tell you she is wonderful. She gave us so much information. Also Mahommad Talaat was our the rep who was constantly making sure we were satisfied with our trip. We also had the tour Cairo by night with him, he took us to this Egyptian restaurant & it was so good. We shopped around for so much souvenirs in old Cairo.Show moreTrip date: November 2018

Asked on August 8th, 2023Can we add on Abu Simbel to this itinerary? The itinerary calls for a 'luxury hotel,' but it doesn't give any idea of what that might be. Also, we'd like 2 extra days up front in Cairo, if at all possible.
- Saudi GroupOperator•Written August 2023
Yes that's possible. Accommodation Plan (B) Luxury: Cairo hotels include Kempinski Nile Hotel, Fairmont Cairo, Luxury Conrad Cairo, Marriott Sheraton Cairo, Hilton Pyramids Golf, Safir Hotel. Yes possible, please advise me the dates to update the program.

Traveler•Written August 2023So will you please price this out for me: 4 nights in Cairo (Kempinski or St. Regis) including 2 days of touring: 1 day at pyramids, 1 at the new Egypt Museum (if open) or Antiquities Museum, plus mummies if time permits. Flight to Luxor. Balloon ride in Luxor? 4 night cruise on Oberoi Philae (or similar caliber) with guided tours. Flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel for guided tour. Flight from Abu Simbel to Cairo. 1 night at Cairo airport hotel. All transfers, etc. Dates: Late February/Early March. Must leave no later than March 10. Ideal dates: February 27 through March 7.
- Saudi GroupOperator•Written August 2023
We could add Abu Simbel by flight with an extra 300$ per person. Egypt Air often cancels Abu Simbel flights last minute due to low passenger numbers. Most clients prefer private car. Aswan city tour guides are more professional than Abu Simbel guides.
- Saudi GroupOperator•Written August 2023
Updated tour price after adding 2 nights and Abu Simbel by flight will be 6550$.

Asked on July 6th, 2023How can you offer a tour that starts on any day when it includes a 4-day boat trip in Luxor?
- Saudi GroupOperator•Written July 2023
Because we have checked the availability and there no availability on 29 Nov Wed from Luxor. So please advise me if you are flexible with dates or if we can start from Aswan instead of Luxor.
- Saudi GroupOperator•Written July 2023
That's possible, let me check the availability and feed you back. The reservation at cruises are off Friday and Saturday so I will back to you on Sunday.
