Itinerary
- Day 1
Copenhagen
You'll arrive in Copenhagen today. If your flight gets in early, there's time to walk around Nyhavn and see those colorful waterfront buildings, check out Tivoli Gardens, or head through Norrebro to get a feel for the city. Everyone meets at 6 pm for an optional group dinner, so you can take it easy or keep exploring until then.

- Day 2
Copenhagen
This morning you'll join a guided tour with Street Voices to explore hidden parts of Copenhagen and hear about local life from a socially responsible angle. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. You can visit Amalienborg Palace, the Marble Church, Christiansborg Palace, or the National Museum. If it's warm, the free harbor baths are a nice way to cool off.

Copenhagen to Gothenburg
You'll catch a morning train to Malmo, crossing the famous Oresund Bridge. Your leader walks you through the city's transformation over the past twenty years. Wander the Old Town, check out the castle, or visit Apoteket Lejonet, a beautiful 1896 pharmacy. If the weather cooperates, you can rent a pedalboat on the canal. Later, you'll head to Gothenburg by train or bus for the night.

- Day 4
Vrango Island
An early ferry takes you from Gothenburg to Vrango Island, the southernmost island in the archipelago. You'll have an included kayaking activity to explore the beaches and nature reserves (summer only). The afternoon is free to relax or explore on your own, then you'll head back to Gothenburg for the evening.

- Day 5
Gothenburg
You'll travel to Alingsas with a local expert guide to learn about the city's fika culture and coffee tradition. During the day, you'll tour traditional cafes and try Swedish cinnamon buns, biscuits, pastries, and other treats. After heading back to Gothenburg in the late afternoon, you have free time to check out the museums, do some shopping, or walk around the nice neighborhoods.

Gothenburg to Oslo
A morning bus takes you across the border to Oslo. Your leader gives an orientation walk to help you get your bearings in the city. In the afternoon, you can walk through Maschmanns Food Market, watch glass blowers at Hadeland Glassverk, stroll down Karl Johans Gate for shopping, or visit the Munch Museum to see The Scream. The day ends with a group dinner to celebrate everyone coming together.

Oslo
Today is yours to explore Oslo however you like until a second group meeting at 6 pm. You could try island hopping in the Oslofjord, wander through Vigeland Park, or take a ferry to see the Viking Ship Museum. Later you'll meet up with the group for dinner and drinks.

Oslo to Trondheim
You'll take a train from Oslo across the Norwegian countryside to Trondheim, which was Norway's first capital and the coronation city of kings. The city sits on the Trondheimsfjord with colorful wooden storehouses along the Nidelva River. Ask your leader where to find the best fresh seafood in town.

- Day 9
Trondheim to Bodo
After an easy walk around Lianvatnet, a freshwater lake in the Bymarka nature reserve with grassy slopes and shady paths, you'll head back to Trondheim. Then you'll board the Hurtigruten ferry toward Bodo. This ferry has run for over 130 years and serves regional ingredients onboard. You'll spend the night on the ferry, watching the Norwegian coastline while it's still light outside.

Bodo to Svolvaer
You'll arrive in Bodo this morning and explore this modern city rebuilt after WWII, backed by rugged mountains. The area is known for having the world's highest population of white-tailed sea eagles, so watch for them circling overhead while you grab food or a drink by the quay. You can optionally take a bus to Saltstraumen to see the world's strongest tidal current. Later, an afternoon ferry takes you to the Lofoten Islands and a traditional rorbu (fisherman's cabin).

- Day 11
Svolvaer
This morning you'll head out on an included RIB boat to the narrow, steep-sided Trollfjord in Viking country. You'll navigate around small islands and skerries in the Raftsundet Strait and look for sea eagles. The afternoon is free for you to explore on your own, with optional activities available if you want to do something specific.

- Day 12
Svolvaer
After breakfast, you'll join a leader-led hike to Linken Peak (105 m), which takes about 2 hours and offers nice views of the surrounding mountains and sea. If you want more of a challenge, you can additionally hike Tjeldbergtinden for views over the sea, fjords, and Svolvaer city. Or if you prefer a quieter day, you can head back after Linken Peak and relax for the rest of the day.

Svolvaer to Tromso
You'll leave the Lofoten Islands on a scenic travel day. A local bus ride takes you to Harstad where you have free time for lunch or exploring. Later, a local ferry continues past fjords and even a maelstrom on the way to Tromso, which sits far above the Arctic Circle. Your evening is free when you arrive.

Tromso
You'll start with an e-bike tour with a local guide to explore Tromso and learn about life north of the Arctic Circle. You'll stop at local spots like the MS Polstjerna vessel (entry not included), a 19th-century farmstead, Prestvannet lake, and other places. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace, visiting the Polar Museum, Tromso Museum, galleries, or taking a boat cruise. You can also check out Olhallen pub at the historic Mack Brewery from 1877. There's an optional group dinner if you'd like to join.
