- Day 1
Dobrota
You'll arrive in Dobrota whenever works for you. Your tour leader meets you at the hotel at 7pm for a welcome meeting, and there's a dinner option if you want to join. The rest of the day is yours to get settled and wander around town.

Kotor
Travel to Kotor and walk through the medieval old city, checking out the fortified walls with views over rooftops and the fjord. After that, you'll take a boat trip across Kotor Bay to see small islands. By evening you're free to wander and try some local Montenegrin food.

Zabljak
Head toward Rijeka Crnojevica on Skadar Lake's shores, stopping at Pavlova Strana Viewpoint first. You'll explore the lake and its national park with some optional activities available. Later you continue to Zabljak on the edge of Durmitor National Park, where steep peaks and alpine lakes surround the village.

Zabljak
Start the morning in Durmitor National Park walking through dense forest toward Crno Jezero (Black Lake), bordered by ancient pine trees over 400 years old. This moderate walk takes about 2.5 hours round trip. You'll head back to Zabljak in the afternoon to rest.

Zabljak to Sjenica
Cross into Serbia and see the Djurdjevica Tara Bridge soaring 135 metres above the Tara River Gorge. A local priest guides you through the 13th-century Mileseva Monastery, then you explore Uvac Special Nature Reserve and Uvac Canyon from Molitva viewpoint. Later you arrive in Sjenica for the night.

Sjenica to Sirogojno
Travel to western Serbia and the Zlatibor massif peaks, which cover 300 square kilometres of the Dinaric Alps. You'll reach Sirogojno village and tour its open-air museum, declared a national monument in 1983. Tonight you stay in small historical mountain houses right in the museum complex.

Sirogojno to Kustendorf
Learn about traditional Sirogojno knitted sweaters and try knitting yourself. Then you board the historic narrow-gauge Sargan Eight railway, one of Europe's most famous train journeys, weaving through 22 tunnels in a figure-of-eight pattern. From there you continue to Kustendorf, a unique wooden village built by filmmaker Emir Kusturica.

Cross into Bosnia Herzegovina and drive to Visegrad on the Drina River, where the UNESCO World Heritage Site Stari Most inspired Nobel Prize-winning author Ivo Andric. Continue to Sarajevo, the capital, and take a walking tour covering Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian heritage sites. You'll stay here for two nights.

This day is free for you to explore Sarajevo on your own. Wander through Bascarsija, the heart of old Sarajevo, browsing markets and discovering Ottoman-era streets named after traditional traders. If you're interested, check out the 1984 Winter Olympics site, a point of pride as the first successful Winter Olympics hosted by a Communist country.

Sarajevo to Mostar
Travel about an hour to visit Atomska Ratna Komanda (Tito's Bunker), a secret nuclear command center built into Bjelasnica Mountain during the Cold War. After about 1.5 more hours, you'll reach historic Mostar on the Neretva River. A local guide takes you through the Old Town and the iconic Stari Most bridge. Evening is free to explore.

Dubrovnik
Your tour ends this morning in Dubrovnik with no scheduled activities, so you can depart whenever suits you. Luggage storage is usually available at the hotel, so check with your tour leader. If your flight leaves later, Dubrovnik Airport is about 30 minutes away.
