- DCDeeDee· August 24th, 2023I had a lovely trip but it was only partially due to Tour Radar (TR). The first unexpected thing that happened was that a tour day excursion was changed and there was no email or text communicating the change AND the excursion activities were changed, which were a big part of why I signed up for this trip. Sometimes TR arranged a pick up to get you to an activity (with a day trip company called “Walking Tours”, not TR) and sometimes they didn’t, and you’ll need to figure out which it’s going to be. My hotel in Florence had subpar AC and it was 100 degrees out. Next hotel, same thing. One hotel in Venice kept the room cool (Hotel Bisanzio) and that was so appreciated. Bisanzio was also in a lovely location. Our hotel in Rome went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and kept the room cool (Hotel Villa Glori). Bring extra money because this tour does not cover all needs for this trip. You’ll need to pay for plenty of your transportation. In Venice this means water taxis and it will take some time to figure out how it works unless you don’t mind spending money for a private taxi. The best part of the trip were the amazing tour guides at Walking Tours. All of them were exceptional.Show moreTrip date: July 2023

- LHLori· November 6th, 2022When we booked this tour we thought we would be traveling with a group, but is was more like the company arranged our travel for just the two of us. It was wonderful but we missed meeting new people and traveling with them. The private driver from Rome to Florence was really nice. The winery stop and city stops along the way were great! The train ride to Venice is tricky. There are two stops in Venice and of course we got off on the wrong stop and had to pay the water taxi extra money to wait on us to get back on a train. We recommend TourRadar. The vouchers told us the details we needed to get where we needed to go. The tours were perfect and the hotels in great locations.Show moreTrip date: October 2022

Asked on August 16th, 2023What are the hotel ratings, 4 stars? All with private bathrooms and air conditioning? Are the locations of the hotels within walking distance of the local train stations. What is the durations of the train ride from Rome to Florence? From Florence to Venice? Do I have the option to purchase other activities/tours for each city? For example, a guided tour of St. Per's Basilica on Day 1.

I wanted to check and see if it would be possible to add or swap (I don't drink) pizza & gelato making in Florence? Also, I wanted to verify that there are no hostels on this tour, just hotels?
