    Chivay to Puno

    An early start gets you to Colca Canyon, a gorge twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. At Cruz del Condor viewpoint you search for condor sightings while exploring Andean villages and Inca terraces. Later you drive roughly six hours east toward Lake Titicaca, passing through Patapampa Pass at 4,910 metres and stopping for lunch along the way.
