Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
You'll land at Cusco airport and head to your hotel to settle in and let your body adjust to the high altitude. Around 1:10 p.m., your guide will pick you up for a 4-hour city tour. You'll see the Cathedral of Cusco and Qorikancha temple, then move through Santo Domingo convent. After that, you'll visit several archaeological sites including Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay before returning to your hotel by evening.

Cusco to Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, you'll travel toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First stop is Pisac, where you can walk through the handicraft market and see local crafts. Then you'll head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch, followed by a visit to the archaeological remains at Ollantaytambo. Later that afternoon, you'll board a train to Aguas Calientes, the village at the base of Machu Picchu, where you'll spend the night.

Machu Picchu
You'll have breakfast at your hotel, then catch a bus that takes about 25 minutes up the mountain to Machu Picchu. A guide will walk you through the site for roughly 2 hours, pointing out the Main Plaza, Circular Tower, Sacred Sundial, Royal Quarters, Temple of Three Windows, and various cemeteries. You'll get free time to explore on your own after that. Later, you'll head back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch, then take the train back to Cusco where your guide will meet you and take you to your hotel.

Cusco to Puno
You'll leave after breakfast and travel by bus toward Puno, with 5 guided stops along the way. You'll visit the Church of Andahuaylillas at 3,122 meters, then the Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi at 3,450 meters. Around midday, you'll have a buffet lunch in Sicuani at 3,552 meters. The route includes a hike to La Raya Pass at 4,335 meters, which marks the watershed between two valleys, and a stop at Pukara at 3,900 meters. You'll arrive in Puno around 5:00 p.m., where the altitude sits at 3,800 meters.

Lake Titicaca
After breakfast, you'll go to the port and take a motorboat to the Uros floating reed islands. You'll spend about 2 hours on the water observing how people live on these islands that are only about 20 meters long. From there, the boat continues to Taquile Island where you can tour the ruins and see local weavers known for their detailed textile work. You'll have time to grab lunch and do some shopping before heading back to Puno in the afternoon, then returning to your hotel.
