    Kathmandu to Syabru Besi

You'll leave Kathmandu early and drive about 117 kilometers to Syabru Besi, a journey that takes roughly 9 hours along winding mountain roads. This initial drive gives you your first real sense of the terrain ahead as you climb into the foothills. Plan for stops along the way to stretch and grab some food. You'll cross the Langtang River on a suspension bridge and pass several waterfalls along the way.
