Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Your company representative meets you at Tribhuvan International Airport and takes you to your hotel. The evening gives you time to meet other tour participants and trek members, so you can get to know the group before things really get going.
- Day 2
Kathmandu City Tour
After breakfast, you'll head out on a guided city tour hitting four UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You'll see Pashupatinath Temple complex, walk around the white stupa at Boudhanath, wander through the ancient temples and palaces of Kathmandu Durbar Square, and climb up to Swayambhunath for views across the valley.

Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
You drive to Chitwan National Park, about 5 hours, but stop at Chauradi for a 3-hour white water rafting session on the Trishuli River. After lunch by the river, the drive continues to Chitwan. In the evening, you'll explore the Tharu village, check out the cultural museum and elephant stables, catch a sunset viewpoint, then watch a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance.

Chitwan National Park Activities
Start with a 1-hour canoe ride looking for gharial and mugger crocodiles, then hike into the jungle to see wildlife and birds. You'll visit the elephant breeding center and get to bathe with elephants in the river. After lunch, head out on a 4-hour jeep safari or elephant back safari through the park where Royal Bengal Tigers and other wildlife might show up.

After breakfast, you drive to Pokhara, a scenic lake city with nice natural surroundings. Later in the day, you can walk around Phewa Lake's shores, go boating, and visit the Tal Barahai Island Temple.

Pokhara Sightseeing
You head out early to Sarangkot viewpoint to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna mountain range. Back at the hotel for breakfast, then the sightseeing continues with Davis Fall and Gupteshowar Mahadev cave. The Peace Pagoda Stupa comes next for views of the Annapurna ranges, Pokhara valley, and Phewa Lake.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you drive back to Kathmandu through scenic landscape with the Trishuli River and deep valleys showing off views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu ranges. In the evening, you can shop in Thamel for souvenirs. The day wraps up with a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepalese restaurant that includes a cultural performance.

Departure from Kathmandu
