From day one we loved every moment of our trip. I'd been dreaming of visiting Canada and Alaska from when I was 10 years old, it took me 60 years to get there and there were no disappointments. All the little extras Vedrana was able to show us from knowing where we would see black bear to the salmon spawning was so appreciated. Words can't explain the beauty of Canada and Alaska . Every bend in the road showed another breathtaking view. There was never a time when we were on the "wrong side" of the bus. The default (inside) cabin is Category J. Upgrades to Category D (outside) are available for an upcharge of $360.00 USD per person. Upgrades to category B cost an additional $1,400.00 USD per person and upgrades to category AA cost an additional $1,500.00 USD per person. Categories B and AA are Veranda cabins. Please note that cabin inventory is limited and upgraded cabins may need to be requested.

What you have seen is correct. The Canadian Rockies portion of the tour is 13 days and the Alaska Cruise is 7 days which creates the 20 day itinerary.

We have the Western Canada by Rail and Western Canada by Rail and Alaska Cruise that will allow you to ride the Rocky Mountaineer. The room selection is made once you are booked on the tour. Once you are booked on the tour, you would be able to select either an outside cabin or Veranda Cabin.
