Itinerary
- Day 1
Entebbe
Your driver and guide meet you at Entebbe International Airport and take you to your accommodation for the night. It's a straightforward transfer to get settled in after your arrival.

Entebbe to Jinja
After breakfast, you're driven to Jinja for white water rafting. The trip covers up to 31 km and includes lunch with a barbeque and complimentary drinks. You can opt for either a full-day or half-day experience depending on your preference.

- Day 3
Entebbe to Kibale National Park
Following breakfast, your driver heads west toward Kibale National Park. The journey takes around 8 hours with a lunch break in Fort Portal town. Along the way, you'll pass through small towns, villages, tea farms, and local markets. By evening you'll arrive with time to rest before the next day's activities.

- Day 4
Kibale National Park
Start early with breakfast, then go to Kibale National Park office for a chimpanzee tracking briefing. A guided primate walk takes you through the forest searching for chimps and 12 other primate species with park rangers explaining the wildlife and vegetation. You spend about an hour with the chimps before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Swamp for a community walk where you can spot the great blue Turaco bird and around 200 bird species.

Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, take a cultural tour of the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves located 10km from Fort Portal with a local guide. From there you'll hike the explosion crater lakes in the area, then head back to Fort Portal for lunch and a visit to the Tooro Kingdom Palace. Later that evening, drive toward Queen Elizabeth National Park while viewing the Rwenzori Mountain ranges.

- Day 6
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Head out right after breakfast for an early morning wildlife game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The diverse landscape includes grasslands, forests, rivers, swamps, and volcanic craters where you might see lions, leopards, forest hogs, buffalos, elephants, and Uganda Kobs against the Rwenzori Mountains backdrop. After lunch, enjoy a 2 to 3 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward, where hippos congregate and birdwatching is excellent.

- Day 7
Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, your driver takes you from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a 6 hour journey through the Kigezi Highlands terrain. The route winds through terraced hills and passes through areas called the Switzerland of Africa. You'll stop for lunch in Kabale along the way before reaching Bwindi forest.

- Day 8
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This is the main event of your trip - encountering mountain gorillas. You'll enter the forest in groups of no more than 8 people searching for gorillas. Your guide points out signs like dung, nests, and bamboo shoots. The trek takes you along forested slopes with vines, bushes, and bamboo. Once you find the gorillas, you'll spend up to 1 hour observing them before heading back.

- Day 9
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, you're driven from Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park, roughly 7 hours with a lunch stop in Mbarara. You'll arrive early enough to do both a wildlife game drive and a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During these activities you might spot zebras, elands, buffalos, and over 250 bird species including the Papyrus Gonolek and Brown-faced Lapwing.

- Day 10
Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala
After breakfast, head out for a wildlife safari walk in Lake Mburo National Park with an armed ranger. You may see zebras grazing with long-horned Ankole cattle, and early risers might catch hyenas near their cave. After returning to the lodge for lunch, the drive back to Kampala includes a stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers to watch traditional ceremonial drum making, and a photo stop at the equator. You'll reach Kampala in the early evening.
