We want a 2 night, 2.5 day tour with pick-up at dock, transportation to high altitude location for acclimatization, guided tour of Machu Picchu, and return to cruise ship. Need a complete package with meals, taxes, and fees included.

Itinerary includes: pick-up from Callao port, flight to Cusco, train to Machu Picchu, overnight in Machupicchu Pueblo, early morning Machu Picchu visit, return to Callao port. We recommend flying back to Lima on Jan 15 due to potential flight cancellations during rainy season.

Asked on July 12th, 2024will it be possible to hike the Inca Trail on this tour? Other tour operators say the permits are sold out, so they are going on another route.

On this tour, it is not possible to do the Inca Trail Trek, but you will visit Machu Picchu which is the high point and the main objective of the Inca Trail Trek. The tickets for the Inca Trail Trek always sell out many months in advance. It is highly probable that there will be no Inca Trail Trek tickets available for sale for the near future. There are several alternative 4- day trekking routes to Machu Picchu such as the Salkantay Trek, the Lares Trek, or the Inca Jungle. Then there is the 9-day Choquequirao Trek. These treks will have availability, the most popular one is the Salkantay Trek.

Of course another option would be that we could recommend a suitable hotel, and then you, yourself, could make your reservations directly with the hotel in accordance with your travel dates.
