Do you accept senior travelers aging up to 82 but healthy?

    Age Range
    Tour Details
    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten September 2025

As we generally do not have passengers within that age range, we would kindly require that travelers of 82 years join the tour with a partner or companion. This ensures both comfort and support throughout the trip.

    • J

      Jeffrey

      TravelerWritten September 2025

Actually we have a few people together, not only one. I didn't choose the number because I don't know how many yet. It could be 2, 4 or 6. Because there is no age limit for your 14-day Balkan trip, we might join that plan. It will be next year. So if we have more than 2 people, is there a limit for the age?

    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten September 2025

If you are traveling with companions—whether in pairs or as a group of 2, 4, or 6—there is no age limit for joining the 14-day Balkan trip. You are welcome to join as long as you're comfortable with the itinerary, which includes walking and some longer drives between destinations. We'd be happy to have you on board next year!

While our standard age policy is 18-59, we are happy to welcome senior travellers who are healthy and able to fully participate in the itinerary. We look forward to having you all with us and making sure you enjoy a comfortable and memorable journey through the Balkans.

What is the deposit amount per person for this Balkans trip?

    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten August 2025

The deposit amount is $150 per person. The deposit payment will be lost for cancellations until 60 days prior to the tour departure date. Within 60 days of the departure, cancellation fees increase incrementally starting from 70% of the tour fee.

    • E

      Emma

      TravelerWritten August 2025

Can you clarify the cancellation policy? If I cancel 61 days before departure, will the deposit be returned? Also, is it possible to change the departure date instead of canceling?

    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten August 2025

Cancellation policy details: 60 days or more prior to departure, deposit is retained. 59-30 days 70% of tour fee is forfeited. 29-15 days 85% of tour fee is forfeited. 14-0 days 100% of tour fee is forfeited. Tour date changes: Within 60-30 days, $25 amendment fee per person. Within 29 days, changes are at Travel Talk's discretion.

However, we will still have the opportunity to admire its stunning neo-Renaissance architecture and scenic surroundings in the Carpathian Mountains. Yes, you will be going inside Corvin Castle as part of the visit. Regarding Brukenthal Palace, it is part of the Sibiu sightseeing tour, but there is no mention of going inside.

On arrival at the hotel around 7pm, have an informal welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. Check in is at 2pm therefore you can arrive any time between. At the end the tour ends around 6pm, therefore you can arrange a flight after 9PM.

We welcome travelers of all ages on our tours! While we do not have strict age restrictions, we offer the following guidelines for comfort and convenience: • Travelers aged 18–59 can book without any additional considerations. • For passengers outside this age range traveling alone, we recommend adding a single supplement for added comfort and privacy throughout the tour. • For couples or those traveling with a companion, regular shared accommodations can be booked without the need for a single supplement.
