Regarding the tour guide, Alex, it will not be enough to describe how wonderful he was throughout the tour. Alex is a knowledgeable guide; he explained the Mayan ruins exceptionally well. Moreover, it becomes easy to connect with your guide when he/she also knows world history. Thanks to Alex & Fransisco for being so caring and helpful. - Charmayne· November 17th, 2022Most of the trip was good Francisco and his wife could have not been any better, then with my trip climbing the volcano Francisco was the BEST. Alex his associate seemed most of the time disinterested. One day while with him he wanted to stop to eat at a Mc Donalds, I preferred not eat there versus something more from El Salvador or a street vendor. while driving he ate two bags of french fries and then pulled over to go out of the car and eat his sandwich while I sat in the car and waited. While climbing the volcano I was not sure he knew where he was going, and I did ask him which way to go while he was on his phone and walking with hesitation. Then I was watching where I was stepping and hit the ground, as he stopped again. He had no idea on what to do, another tourist offered to help Alex brushed him off stating he was "my driver". He drove me to the hospital no water or towels to stop or clean up the blood or dirt.Show moreTrip date: June 2022
