Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll land at Kathmandu International Airport where a representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After getting settled in, the afternoon is yours to wander around and get oriented. Later you'll connect with the office team for a briefing about your trip, then head to dinner at a local restaurant to kick things off.

- Day 2
Kathmandu
Today brings a full day of guided temple visits across Kathmandu. You'll see Kathmandu Durbar Square, then head to Swayambhunath (also called the Monkey Temple), followed by Pashupatinath temple sitting on the Bagmati River. From there you go to Boudhanath Stupa, which ranks among the oldest and largest stupas around. By afternoon, your trekking guide meets you at the hotel to go over what's coming up on the trek.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
A drive takes you from your hotel to Kathmandu's domestic airport for a short flight to Pokhara. On clear days you'll catch sight of the Annapurna range and Mount Machhapuchare's distinctive peak. After landing in Pokhara, you're transferred to your hotel, leaving the rest of the day open to check out the lakeside area.

Phedi to Dhampus
An hour's drive west takes you through farm villages to Dhampus Phedi, where the trek begins. You'll climb stone steps through forest and past terraced fields before reaching Dhampus village on the ridge. Your lodge here has rooms with views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, and Machhapuchare, and you'll have time to walk around and see how the Gurung community lives.

Landmarks Dhampus - Day 5
Dhampus to Landruk
Starting from Dhampus with mountain views ahead, you trek uphill through forest to Potana village where Annapurna mountains come into sight. After a break, the trail continues to Pitam Deurali hilltop with wide views across the landscape and snow peaks. Then you descend through green forest on a winding path down to Landruk for the night, with Annapurna South and Huinchuli visible from there.

Landruk to Ghandruk
You'll start with morning views of Annapurna South, then trek downhill toward the Modi River. Stone steps lead all the way up to Ghandruk, a large Gurung village where you'll stay. The afternoon is free to walk around, check out the local museum, and take in views of the Annapurna peaks from the village.

Landmarks Ghandruk - Day 7
Ghandruk
You have the full day to explore Ghandruk, one of the larger farming communities in the Annapurna region. This Gurung village gives you a chance to see how the local people live, including their farming and cattle work, tribal language, Buddhist customs, and how they connect the Bon religion to nature's spirits. The Gurung people here have a history as skilled soldiers known as Gorkhas.

Landmarks Ghandruk - Day 8
Ghandruk to Pokhara
Leaving Ghandruk, you trek downhill past Kimche through farm areas to Syali-Bazaar in rice paddies, then follow the Modi River toward Bhirethati and Nayapul to finish the trek. After this scenic walk, a short drive under two hours gets you back to Pokhara for your last night in Nepal's mid-west region.

Depending on your flight schedule, you're driven to Pokhara Airport for a half-hour flight back to Kathmandu. The flight offers views of Himalayan peaks below. Once you land in Kathmandu, you're transferred to your hotel with a free afternoon to do what you like.

Kathmandu
Your last day in Nepal. Based on your international flight time, you'll be driven to Kathmandu Airport for your departure home or to wherever comes next, ending your Annapurna Luxury Lodge trek.
