Itinerary
- Day 1
Islamabad
Your guide and driver will meet you at Islamabad airport and take you to your hotel. After you get settled, you'll have the rest of the day to rest up before starting your journey into Chitral.
- Day 2
Islamabad to Chitral
Head out early for the drive to Chitral, which takes you through Lowari Pass. The route is scenic but winding, so plan for a full day of travel. Once you arrive, check into your hotel for the night.

- Day 3
Birir Valley
Drive to Birir valley to walk through the village and see the local statue. You'll visit the Jeshtak Han, a ceremonial gathering space, and try homemade Kalash food including cheese, yogurt, and local wine. This gives you a real feel for how the community lives.

Landmarks/POIs Birir Valley - Day 4
Bumburate Valley
Travel to Bumburate valley, the largest of the three main valleys here. Walk through the old villages and stop at the Jeshtak Han to learn about local traditions. You'll also see the Bashali House, which is a traditional space where Kalasha women go during childbirth, offering insight into their customs.

Anish Village and Bumburate
Drive to Anish village to visit the Kalasha Skill Centre, where local artisans show their craft work. It's a good chance to support the community and understand traditional skills. After that, head back to Bumburate for the night and try local food and Kalash wine if you arrange it ahead of time.

Rumbour Valley
Drive to Rumbour valley and explore the area, visiting the Sajigor temple along the way. You'll see traditional old houses and can have local Kalasha food with wine if arranged beforehand. Later in the day, drive back to Chitral for the night.

Chitral to Peshawar
Start the drive back toward Peshawar, heading over Lowari Pass which sits at 10,500 feet. This stretch takes about 8 to 10 hours depending on road conditions, so it's a long day of travel. You'll arrive in Peshawar by evening and transfer to your hotel.

Peshawar
Spend the day exploring Peshawar at your own pace. Walk through the old bazaar, check out the Peshawar Museum, or just wander the streets to get a sense of the city's history and energy.

Peshawar to Islamabad
Drive to Islamabad and once you arrive, you'll have time to explore the city. Visit Faisal Mosque, walk through some of the main markets, or check out one of the nearby hiking trails if you want to stretch your legs.

Islamabad Departure
Spend your last morning in Islamabad walking around or visiting any sites you missed. Later, you'll head to the airport for your departure flight.
