Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu where your airport representative will meet you and go over what to expect from the tour. After you get settled in at your hotel, there's a traditional Nepali dinner in the evening to kick things off.

Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll spend the day exploring Kathmandu valley's cultural and artistic side. Start with the Swayambhunath Temple, which sits high up with great views across the valley. Then head to Pashupatinath Temple, an important site dedicated to Shiva, and finish at Boudhanath Stupa, the country's largest stupa and a significant Tibetan Buddhist center.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
You'll drive to Pokhara in western Nepal after breakfast, taking in the fresh mountain air and views of the highest peaks around you. Later in the afternoon, take a boat across Lake Phewa to see the Annapurna range reflected in the calm water. Stay for sunset from the lake shore before having dinner at a local restaurant.

Pokhara to Tikhedhunga Trek
Drive about 1.5 hours by private vehicle to Nayapul where the trek begins. From there, trek to Tikhedhunga on a nice dirt road next to a stream, with glimpses of Himalayan peaks and green mountain villages along the way. You'll overnight at a guest house.

Landmarks/POIs Nayapul - Day 5
Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani Trek
This is a tough day with around 3,300 stone steps to climb, including a suspension bridge crossing. You'll push steeply up to Ulleri, a Magar settlement, then continue through meadows and rhododendron forest where you might spot redstarts, kingfishers, and other birds. Reach Ghorepani by day's end with broad views of Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna I, and several other peaks. Overnight at a lodge.

Ghorepani to Poon Hill and Tadapani
Get up early and trek 400 meters uphill to Poon Hill (about 45 minutes) to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna range as the peaks shift from pink to gold. On clear days you can see two of the world's 14 peaks above 8,000 meters. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then trek down to Tadapani for the night.

Tadapani to Chhomrung Trek
Trek through forested areas with birds singing around you, descending for roughly 45 minutes before the trail gets very steep through terraced fields to Kimrung Khola. Cross a suspension bridge and continue to Gurjung, then climb for 45 minutes to reach Chhomrung at 2,170 meters. The full trek from Tadapani takes 4 to 5 hours. Overnight at a lodge.

Chhomrung to Dovan Trek
Trek down 310 meters on thousands of stone steps, cross the Chhomrung stream, and climb to Sinuwa at 2,340 meters. Walk through rhododendron forest decorated with orchids and ferns, then descend steeply through stone steps to bamboo forest where you'll have lunch. Spend about an hour more in cool forest before reaching Dovan at 2,630 meters. Overnight at a lodge.

Dovan to Himalaya Trek
Trek through quiet jungle from Dovan to Himalaya. Along the way, learn about the spiritual importance these mountains hold in Nepali culture and about the goddess Annapurna, worshipped as a kitchen-goddess and goddess of harvests whose name means 'plenty of food.' Overnight at a lodge.

Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp
This is the main day of the trek as you reach Annapurna Base Camp within the ACAP zone. You'll trek through gentle uphill sections across calm meadows with great views of towering Himalayan peaks surrounding you. The base camp gives you 360-degree views of the whole Annapurna range. You might see blue sheep, pika, snow leopards, and Himalayan Thar, plus colorful birds like blood pheasants and koklas.

Start with hot tea or coffee while you take in the mountain views, then have breakfast before trekking down from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan or Bamboo. You'll pass through MBC, Deurali, and Himalaya with tea and lunch stops along the way. Overnight at a lodge.

Dovan to Chhomrung Trek

Chhomrung to Tolka Trek
Trek down from Chhomrung to Tolka, another Gurung settlement. Spend time exploring their culture and traditions while talking with local people about their lives.

Tolka to Pokhara Trek
After breakfast, trek down from Tolka to Pokhara through beautiful scenery with Himalayan range views the whole way. Walk through the nice landscape and reach Pokhara by day's end. Overnight in a Pokhara hotel.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Fly from Pokhara back to Kathmandu with mountain views from the plane during the flight. Spend the rest of the day however you like - explore the city, check out shops, or relax at one of the many cafes and rooftop restaurants. Celebrate finishing the trek in the evening.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your last day in Kathmandu is free to do what you want. Many people use it for shopping while others continue exploring the city's cultural sites. Your guide can point out the best shops if you need suggestions. Goodbyes and farewells. Your airport representative will go with you to the airport.
