- NBNayan· May 31st, 2024We took 11 day tour and the best part was efficient driver and clean bus. However the itinerary of tour was more focussed on visits to commercial places who are selling rugs, pottery, Leather etc. These sellers charge 5 times more price than shops in Istanbul. Most tourists come to turkey and directly join tour and at end of tour goes back to own country. So many tourists buy and get cheated as Neon tours guide assure tourists that this is the best place to buy. Lot of time is wasted at these places and hence lesser time is given at site seeing.Show moreNeon Tours commented on this reviewDear Ms. Bhatt, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. - RHRehana· June 20th, 2019Yes the tour was excellent - it was a great experience for me! Tour guide Mr. Haider is very dedicated to his job. He is very organized, everything were well planned and he explained each tour very precisely. He put personal attention to each member of our tour group. I enjoyed the tour with Mr. Haider & with Neon tour. Driver Mohammed is exceptionally courteous & sweet person - always smiling & gave us comfort. Excellent driver! - LPLulu· April 17th, 2019The tour is more than I expected. The guide was very professional, friendly and helped everyone. I have a very wonderful time and very happy I chose this tour. Thanks a lot.Show moreTrip date: March 2019
- LGLulu· April 11th, 2019The worst hotel was Crowne Plaza Ankara Hotel. The bellboys were lazy. No aircon, food was terrible, room was low class considering I paid more than the others, toilet was blocked and broken top, bed was hard. I can’t believe you put me in this old room with broken toilet. No response from the reception to fix things. But the whole tour was great only there was no toilet break on first and 2nd day until I told the guide. He was good, knowledgeable and helped everyone. The only restaurant that I liked outside was the Obam and the farewell late lunch in Istanbul.Show moreTrip date: March 2019
- Weelisa· January 7th, 2019We were a family of 5 (age range of 30-60y/o). The accommodation, transportation and meals included were great. The hotels are comfortable and clean. The bus is always kept clean and our driver was very professional. The itinerary though can be improved: there were a lot of those “tourist-shops” from carpet to pottery (which were sort of okay because there was a cultural aspect to it. But the jewelry and worst, the leather jacket place were a waste of time. And due to these shop-visiting: our time at certain (beautiful) sites like the Ephesus and Hierapolis were cut short and not enough. The most disappointing were the optional tours: we tried both the 4x4 ride in cappadocia (due to inavailability of hot air balloon) and hot air balloon in pamukkale (which they were charging 185usd)—WASTE OF MONEY!!! We had a HORRIBLE experience wherein we landed in the middle of nowhere of a farm land, and we had to walk for 2.5km IN MUD. Apparently this unfortunate thing happens, yet our guide did not warn us about this prior to the ride. So we did not know what we were getting ourselves into when we signed up. Our guide Gökce was very knowledgeable on historical facts, but she can definitely improve on her listening, people skills, social skills and definitely, customer service. When we had complains or concerns, she would not listen most of the time or answer that “she cannot do anything about it”. I did not have any problems though with my pre-booking with Neon Tours, it was very smooth and they were very responsive and accommodating. Turkey is such a beautiful country, and i feel like it could’ve been explored or discovered more. We would rate the overall experience as average.Show moreTrip date: December 2018
- DDf· January 1st, 2019It went beyond my expectations. General concern on early starts and late days and seeing ' another Roman Ruin " and for me as an Australian, the gallipolli visit appeared very short and rushed ( but most on tour were not really that interested in it by the end of long day). But I am unsure how else to get through this rich itinerary as I did not wish a longer tour. Maybe participates in Tour need more understanding of 'demanding ' schedule prior to going. Also simple things like ' coffee and kettle ' in rooms are actually very important.Show moreNeon Tours commented on this reviewDear Df, Thank you for sparing your valuable time for your kind feedback. Asked on June 27th, 2023When we are in Cappadocia, will we be staying in an underground cave hotel?

The hotel in Cappadocia is usually Crowne Plaza Kapadokya so basically that property has no cave rooms.

Asked on November 12th, 2022I cannot tell the difference in these 3 tours except the cost. Can you please clarify what are the differences?
- Neon ToursOperator•Written November 2022
Compared to Classics of Turkey, Super Saver tour has more optional tours and hotels are different. Moderate is a mix of these tours. Moderate has the same tours of Classics of Turkey but has same hotels with Super Saver.
