Traian was a great guide, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful; it was especially appreciated that he gave us some space and free time to explore and experience places by ourselves. Highlights for us were: the home cooked lunch in Viscri and the traditional Romanian dinner in Voronet; Bran Castle; the drive through Bicaz gorge; the city of Brasov; and the painted monasteries of Bucovina. The longest day of the tour will cover approximately 300 km, as we travel from Transylvania (Cluj) to the Bucovina area (Voronet) and cross the Carpathians.
