Itinerary

You'll arrive in New Delhi and get to know the city's different sides. Start at Qutab Minar, the tall ancient tower that rises over the area, then move through the Red Fort to see its historical structures and courtyards. After that, walk through the markets of Old Delhi where you'll find crowds, street food, and shops packed together in narrow lanes. This morning and afternoon give you a good sense of the city's mix of old and modern.

Later in the day, head to Wagah Border to watch the closing ceremony between India and Pakistan, where soldiers from both sides perform an intense coordinated routine. The energy and precision of it is something you have to see in person.

    Jaipur

Head to Jaipur, known as the Pink City because its buildings were painted in that color back in 1853 for a royal visit. You'll check out the palaces and gardens scattered throughout the city, plus older monuments that show Rajasthan's history. If you're there during Holi, you'll join the celebrations marking the end of winter, where people throw colored powder and water, dance, and light bonfires. It connects back to Krishna stories and brings the whole city together.

Beyond that famous site, the Agra Fort shows military architecture and history from earlier periods. Spending a full day here means you get morning and afternoon light on the monuments, and you can take in the scale and details that photos don't always capture.

Originally there were 85 temples built in the Nagara style, but only 22 remain standing today. Beyond the temples, you'll find palaces and other structures that display the skill in sculpture, dance, and music from that period. The craftsmanship on the walls and columns shows what artisans could do centuries ago.

This morning or evening, join an Aarti ceremony where priests perform rituals by the water with fire and prayers. Take a boat along the river to see the Ghats, the stepped areas where people gather, wash, and perform ceremonies. You can make offerings and float diyas (small oil lamps) on the water. The experience combines spirituality, history, and the river's role in daily life.
