Traveler•Written September 2024what if my arrival time is outside your pickup timings? are there taxis/ubers and how much would they cost to the sternwheeler hotel?
- Arctic Range AdventureOperator•Written September 2024
Airport Arrival Transfers in Whitehorse (10:00 am to 8:30 pm). If arriving on a later flight, transfer yourself to accommodation. Usually a free shuttle from airport to downtown hotels, first come first serve, or take a taxi which takes about 15 minutes.

Asked on April 7th, 2024Would I need to book to an extra nights accommodation before the trip?
- Arctic Range AdventureOperator•Written April 2024
Yes, it is possible and recommended to book a Previous night before the start of the program. We do not offer late pick up, you would have to coordinate your own transportation to the hotel/accommodation. There is a shuttle from the airport to Downtown that is regularly outside on every arrival. If it becomes full or it is not at that time, the best way would also be taking a taxi.

Traveler•Written April 2024Is it possible to get picked up at 23.50 either the day before the tour, or on the first day of the tour?
- Arctic Range AdventureOperator•Written April 2024
Unfortunately, we do not offer pick ups after 11:30 pm, you would have to coordinate your own transportation to the hotel/accommodation. There is a shuttle from the airport to Downtown that is regularly outside on every arrival. If it becomes full or it is not at that time, the best way would also be taking a taxi. We'd then meet you the next morning for an orientation.

Asked on February 10th, 2022Would it be hard to book flights between Vancouver and Whitehorse? What is the best way to book them? Can we rent winter clothes and have them ready when we arrive? Can we pay with American debit cards in Whitehorse? Can we tip in American cash?
- S
Stuart
Traveler•Written February 2022Do you have any openings on Sunday March 20th? Would there be much difference in seeing the Northern Lights between March 6th and March 20th?
- Arctic Range AdventureOperator•Written February 2022
We don't do flight bookings, please contact TourRadar for assistance. There are two airlines from Vancouver to Whitehorse: Air Canada and Air North (better service and more reliable). Winter rental clothing can be added to the package and will be ready upon arrival. You can pay with any Credit Card or cash (CAD or USD) in Whitehorse.
- Arctic Range AdventureOperator•Written February 2022
We can confirm availability for departure on March 20th. The Northern Lights can be seen in the Yukon until mid April.
