What people love about touring Ireland solo
- The Irish Pub Tour - 9 Days/8 Nights
We just returned from the trip of a lifetime on Ireland’s Pub Tour and our guide was a huge part of that! John Dalton was so knowledgeable about Ireland, has a great sense of humor, was helpful with keeping us all on time, communicating about our schedule and an amazing driver! The tour covers a huge part of the country to include castles, pubs, small walking tours (Westports was fun!) and large storehouse tours all of which went seamlessly. I would suggest that staying more than one night in a couple towns would be beneficial just because you’re covering so much ground in a weeks time frame and packing up every night is exhausting. Also, the bathroom/shower situation was a bit different and steep so I heard a few of the elderly people on the tour had issues with it. Also, the sheepdog show and Cliffs of Moher are pretty challenging climbs and a few of the older people on the tour didn’t participate. Hotels and restaurants were above expectations as well as airport transport and of course John D, the BEST tour guide/driver! CIE is the way to go!!
- 8-Day Emerald Explorer Small Group Tour
Guide was well Informed and flexible with the group, while staying on track with our schedule. Great sense of humor!
- Irish Spirit- 8 Days/7 Nights
The Tour guide/driver was the best part of all
