What people love about touring Ireland solo
- 8-Day Emerald Explorer Small Group Tour
The Overland Ireland Emerald Explorer 7 day trip departing Dublin April 3 was fantastic. I don't see any room for improvement. Pat, our guide and driver, was the best. He was informative, helpful, interesting, funny, considerate and always had the group's best interest in mind. Overall a superb trip.
- Taste of Ireland (Tour C) - 5 Days/4 Nights (8 destinations)
I have not been on a tour before and to be honest, I was not very enthusiastic to go on one. However, both the tour guide (Patrick) and the itinerary made this fun and quite enjoyable! We appreciated not having to plan everything ourselves for once as well as have the headache of logistics. We could just sit back in the very comfortable coach and listen to Patrick tell us all the things about Ireland. His knowledge and kindness really made our trip! There was a good range of ages, not all old folks like we feared! I would recommend CIE and especially Patrick to anyone wanting a great trip to the beautiful country of Ireland!
- Wild South - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland
It was beyond my expectation & I will you why. I experienced the breath taking scenery of the path towards the Mizen Head signal station. We climb the stairs to the very top. We went to cliff similar to cliffs of Moher & went to the very edge crawling to take a peep at the edge of the cliff, saw the wild waters down below. We toured Rock of Cashel, its history & the hidden passage way , toured Dingle, went to the Inch beach & loved the wide beach shore, must see too King John's castle, experience the wild birds & its cave. I love their seafood chowder, their pub's music & I just ordered water for myself, dance with the locals just for a good experience, go happy & wild why not, the Irish folks are so friendly. The van with small group is the way to tour because it goes to the off beaten pathways, driven by a knowledgeable historian. The lodging were really 4 star for me, with delicious buffet. Hence I rate Wild n Happy as 5 star.
