What people love about touring Southern Ireland solo
- 8-Day Emerald Explorer Small Group Tour
The Overland Ireland Emerald Explorer 7 day trip departing Dublin April 3 was fantastic. I don't see any room for improvement. Pat, our guide and driver, was the best. He was informative, helpful, interesting, funny, considerate and always had the group's best interest in mind. Overall a superb trip.
- 7-Day Ireland to Island Small Group Tour of Ireland
My trip with Overland was absolutely five star from start to finish. From the wonderfully comfortable transportation to the standard of our guide, Pat, who was not only exceptionally friendly and engaging but thoroughly knowledgeable on all things, well, everything; the history of Ireland to modern day politics. No request was too small or too big – he looked after everything we needed. The highlight of this trip for me was the Skelligs tour – it had been on my bucket list for a long time and I’m so glad it was Overland who helped me tick this off. It does not disappoint despite all the hype – in fact, I think it is only surpassed in real life. Standing on a little rock in the middle of the Atlantic ocean surrounded by adorable puffins in the middle of a wondrous historic site….it truly is magical. Hands down one of the best trip I’ve done in Ireland – I couldn’t recommend Overland highly enough.
- 3-Day Blarney Castle, Kilkenny & Irish Whiskey Small-Group Tour from Dublin
I really enjoyed my 3-day tour of Southern Ireland. I commend our guide Seamus for very interesting and informative facts of all destinations we visited. He is also well organised, keeping our group tour on schedule and entertained with humorous stories and music suited to the places of interest he was recounting. Many thanks to Seamus too for great driving!!.
