Reviews of 3 day Tours from Istanbul
- 4 Days - Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale Tour from/to Istanbul
We had a wonderful time on this tour. All the tour guides were so friendly and knowledgeable, made the experience so enjoyable! I would definitely book again with this company next time I visit.
- 3 Days Best of Cappadocia Tour from/to Istanbul
We had a wonderful trip! All transfers were on time and everything went as scheduled. We had the most fabulous tour guide, Rose, who grew up In Cappadocia and shared a wealth of knowledge, energy, and passion for the area. She was very accommodating to the group’s interests, for example, setting up a wine tasting stop at the last minute. The highlight of our visit was getting to go into a cave house where a family was living for a tour.

The tour was very well organized, times of pick up always perfect and I got to stay in beautiful hotels, for a relaxing experience after the tours. The guides were all passionate and funny, and I say all because on every tour there was a different guide and different group, which was fine for me because I got to meet a lot of new people (but maybe not so great if you expect to stick with the same group for the whole trip). Overall I can say I am fully satisfied!
What our customers ask about Best 3 day Tours from Istanbul
What is the best time of year for a 3-day tour from Istanbul?
Plan your trip in spring (April-May) or fall (September-October) when the weather is really pleasant, with temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). If you go in summer (June-August), be ready for some heat, especially in Ephesus and Pamukkale where it can hit 90°F (32°C). Winter trips to Cappadocia (December-February) are beautiful with snow, but it gets cold, often dropping to 32°F (0°C).
What are the most popular destinations visited on 3-day tours from Istanbul?
Most people visit three main spots: Cappadocia, where you'll see incredible rock formations and ancient churches carved into caves; Pamukkale, with its white calcium pools and the old city of Hierapolis; and Ephesus, which has some of the best-preserved ancient Greek and Roman buildings you'll ever see. Near Kusadasi, you can swim in Pamukkale's natural hot springs while looking at ancient ruins. As one TourRadar traveler put it: "Swimming in the Cotton Castle terraces was unlike anything I've experienced before."
What transportation is included on 3-day tours from Istanbul?
Your tour covers all the basics - flights within Turkey, comfortable buses with air conditioning for day trips, and someone to pick you up and drop you off at airports. The flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia takes about an hour, and you'll travel between sites in nice Mercedes minibuses. One TourRadar traveler wrote: "All transfers were seamless and comfortable, with professional drivers and guides throughout."
What are the must-do optional activities on 3-day tours from Istanbul?
The hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia is the big one - it costs about $200 USD per person and is totally worth getting up early for. You can also ride ATVs through the valleys, watch traditional Turkish dancing at dinner shows, or take a swim in the ancient Cleopatra Pool at Pamukkale. A TourRadar traveler said: "Don't miss the hot air balloon ride - it's absolutely worth the extra cost!"
What are the typical accommodation options on 3-day tours from Istanbul?
You'll usually stay in 4-star hotels or nice boutique places. In Cappadocia, many people love staying in cave hotels like the Dervish Cave Hotel or Design Cave Hotel. If you're in Kusadasi, you might stay at the Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel or Karaaslan Inn Hotel. One TourRadar traveler mentioned: "The accommodation exceeded our expectations, especially the cave hotel in Cappadocia which offered amazing views from the terrace."
