Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Istanbul to Cappadocia

Your hotel pickup happens around 3:45-4:00 am, so pack light and get some rest the night before. The flight to Cappadocia leaves between 6:00-7:30 am, and once you land, your guide meets you to start exploring North Cappadocia. You'll walk through Devrent Valley to see the fairy chimneys, then head to Love Valley where the rock formations look like mushrooms. The town of Avanos gives you a feel for local life, and then you'll check out Goreme open-air museum with all the rock-cut churches carved right into the stone. Before wrapping up, there's Uchisar's natural castles to see. Lunch comes partway through the day, and you'll be back at your hotel to settle in by evening.

  2. Day 2

    Cappadocia to Pamukkale (Overnight Bus)

Breakfast at 9:30 am gets the day started, then you head into South Cappadocia with your guide. Red Valley has rock-cut churches built into the cliffs, and after that comes the roughly 5 km hike through Güllüdere Valley, which locals call Rose Valley because of the rock colors. Çavusin village shows you traditional stone houses and more churches. Lunch hits around noon to refuel. The afternoon brings Pigeon Valley and a trip down into an underground city like Ozkonak or Kaymakli, which is pretty surreal to walk through. Around 8:15 pm you'll board an overnight bus heading to Pamukkale. The journey takes about 10 hours with three stops along the way, so settle in and try to get some sleep.

At 9:30 am there's a pickup, and the guided tour starts at 10:00 am. You'll see Karahayit's Red Spring Waters first, then move to Hierapolis where the ancient ruins include a necropolis, Roman baths, temples, and a theater. Around 12:30 pm you get about an hour of free time to wander Pamukkale and see the white terraces on your own. At 1:30 pm you walk barefoot through the travertines, which feels strange but worth it. Lunch follows at 2:30 pm. There's a brief stop at an onyx factory before the roughly 3-hour drive to Kusadasi for your hotel check-in.

    · September 26th, 2024
The organization of the tour was well done considering the amount of contractors the company deals with, as was the communication. We did have issues with the overnight bus. The itinerary said there would be three rest stops. There was one stop 5.5 hours into the trip and that was it. Also, people were smoking on the bus and were not told to stop. The description of the tour does not include information that there will be “shopping” stops everyday. Most places were overpriced and really took away from the experience. The two days in Cappadocia were rushed and pressured. The last two days were better. The tour of Ephesus was the best part of the entire 4 days.

This was a good tour to see the sights, though we could have skipped some of the shopping (carpet factory, leather shop). Hotels were ok. Service was good, responsive

The trip was amazing. Of course the trip itself was overwhelming, but the support from Senol was very reassuring for us tourists. Whenever we had problems such as paying issues with the bus, we texted him and he immediately teplyed, called with the driver. It was worth it!

It was a very good tour and all the tour guides were great. I would have fly from Capadoccia to Pamukkale instead of taking the bus as it was quite a long distance and uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend to visit these beautiful places

Me Senol the principal of the your operator came to my hotel in Istanbul the day before the tour to update me with a small change to the itinerary and a printed update for me. He then kept in touch with me throughout the tour to advise of pick ups etc. When the hot air ballooning was cancelled because of forecasted high winds he found an alternative 40k’s away although that was ultimately cancelled but he tried very hard to get me in a balloon, so appreciate that. Overall a great trip and it was good to know Mr Senol was tracking our moves across the 4 days.

The best tour I ever had. The hotels we stayed in were very beautiful and much more than we expected. The tour itself was also very interesting and the included meals were also very tasty. The tour coordinator also kept track of every trip and was available all the time incase of any problem. Highlight of the tour - Hot air balloon ride (don't miss it!!!)

The tour covers 3 cities: Cappadocia, Pamukalae and Ephesus for 4 days. Usually, we had a very tight schedule in the first half morning and more relaxed in the afternoon as usually only visiting the outlets and transfer to hotel/station/airport. The outlets seem overpriced and have similar products in some cities, but they are polite and not too forcing us to buy. The guides are knowledge and professional. They are also helpful to provide information and advice. Senol is very communicative and approachable. Some constructive feedbacks from our side as follows: 1. Timing for riding hot air balloon seems a bit late. We left hotel at 7.15 AM and due to the late landing, we were back to hotel almost 10 AM and we missed the breakfast in the cave hotel. We were hurried taking quick pictures in the hotel balcony. Enjoying breakfast in the balcony with Cappadocia view was actually one of our plans in the cave hotel that unfortunately needed to skip. 2. We have to wait about 4 hours for the bus to Pamukalae. It was actually good time to explore the city after storing the luggage in the bus company. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to sit down outside. We moved around to three restaurants just to spend time until the bus arrived at 8 PM. Luckily the bus was on time. About the bus, we expected it was a sleeper bus with more comfortable for long trip (8-9 hours), but it was a normal bus with heater but no leg space, amenities (blanket) and Wi-Fi. We assumed that was that common type of bus used for travelling between cities. 3. We arrived in Pamukalae about 4-5 AM. Someone picked us up and dropped to the hotel for taking rest. The hotel was quite poor with small room, old equipment, cold bed and AC and shower did not work (we were using wash Tafel tap for washing our face). This seemed a transit hotel only or a good hotel many years ago but apparently the location is very close with the cotton castle (we just knew it in the morning during the tour). The breakfast is pretty standard, but it is okay as we do not really eat big breakfast. We appreciate to have some hours for taking rest before the next tour will be about 10 AM. 4. We also took bus to the Kusadasi about 3 hours and arrived quite late in the Kusadasi hotel. We took dinner in the fast hotel restaurant as most of restaurant were not available at that time. The hotel was good with nice view, and the breakfast has more choices. 5. We have to wait for more than 4-5 hours at the airport for our flight from Ismir to the Istanbul. we arrived in Istanbul hotel about 1AM and so exhausted. We hoped that we can go back earlier to the Istanbul but not sure why our flight was so late, perhaps due to availability. Apart of above points, we think if you travel alone or couple, this tour will be a very good option. The price is reasonable, and you have some flexible time with your travel companion. However, if you travel with family especially small kids, perhaps you have to consider a few things to make your kids are comfortable during long hours trips. Thank you Senol and TourRadar for the hospitality! We appreciate it a lot.
