Take an evening walk through the historic center to see Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo.
- Day 4
Venice
Travel through the Apennines to Venice. Take water buses (vaporetti) to St. Mark's Square. What people love about 10-day France, Italy and Switzerland tours
- London to Rome Highlights (10 Days)
They're 2 forms of the European Experience tour, 12 and 14 day (includes 2 days in London). They're two swirling around on Tourradar We opted for the 12 day one since we can save money / better location on our own. Overall this tour was the best decision we (a family of four) made to explore Europe. It's fast paced (wake up early and hit the road to cover as much ground as possible). Annarieke, our tour guide, is lovely and made our experience quite enjoyable. The hotel in Paris didn't have AC and the windows are sealed shut so that caused quite a stir amongst the tour members. Certain days, the days are organized around the optional experiences so you might be stuck in a hotel if you opt out (they also try to make you feel bad by saying "almost everyone" is going on the tour so you feel left out). But don't cave in if you don't want to spend the money on some of the experiences (the carriage ride and moulan rouge are really really overpriced according to my fellow your members). They also don't tell you the schedule of the days in advance so you can't really plan around them. So plan to get a taxi if you don't to do optional dinners in Rome and Paris. But overall, the tour was organized and ran smoothly. Bus was comfortable (we slept a ton on the road), rest stops were adequate to get some snacks, and the included dinners did their job to feed us and help bond.
- A Time to Remember
The hotel was bad in Venice
