What people love about Budget Tours in Bali
- Amazing Bali 10 Days - Ubud/ Yogyakarta/ Seminyak
A trip to remember. The weather was so lovely. Hotels welcomed us and gave us good service. The whole trip was stress-free. I appreciate how PrestiGo Asia planned and accompanied us during our stay.
- Bali Intro 12 Day
Loved the tour_ although at times I found it difficult to chat to ben, and at times it felt like me and others were an inconvenience.
- Bali Intro 9 Days
Simply fantastic. Bali is such a beautiful country. Phil and the team at Balintro made travelling around Bali as stressless as possible. From doing both Thaintro, and Ozintro, this is far my favourite trip. From swimming around dolphins, to drinking shit coffee. (Literally) Bali has so much to offer, and much of it untouched. The group was a small and well connected, the accommodation was fantastic, stayed in a mixture of brand new ultra modern hotel, and clean and traditional Balinese hotels. Just wish I never had to leave. A little survival guide for Bali for anyone planning of going, we did have a few problems with ferries, which were out of Phil's control, but handled everything professionally. Just one big tip is Bali runs on it's own time. Bali-Time. So on our trip to Gili T, our ferry was meant to be at 12pm, but didn't leave until 2:30pm, and a 2hr trip turned into a hell 4:30hrs of people throwing up left right and centre. SO REMEMBER SEA SICKNESS TABLETS. One last thing, no such thing as Health and Safety in Bali. So if a boat handles 50 people, be prepared for them to squeeze maybe triple that into a small little boat. Apart that that, everything else was perfect. Just waiting for them to introduce the next trip considering I've done all three! THANKS YOU SO MUCH! Hopefully be back one day...
What our customers ask about Budget Tours to Bali
Are entrance fees to major attractions included in budget tour prices?
Most budget tours cover entrance fees to main attractions like Uluwatu Temple Monkey Forest and Tanah Lot Temple. Optional activities like scuba diving in Gili Islands or spa treatments in Ubud are typically extra costs. Standard entrance fees at sites like Tirta Empul Temple and Tegalalang Rice Terraces are usually part of the package. A TourRadar traveler commented "The tour included all major entrance fees which was great for budgeting and our guide helped us find affordable options for additional activities like snorkeling in Nusa Penida."
What type of accommodation can I expect on budget tours in Bali Islands?
Budget tours provide comfortable 3-4 star hotels and guesthouses with standard amenities. Properties like Puri Gangga Resort & Spa in Ubud or Lynn Hotel in Yogyakarta offer swimming pools and convenient locations. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The hotels were wonderful except for the first one in Canggu. The rest had beautiful pools and were in prime locations for exploring the surrounding areas."
What are the best budget-friendly areas to stay in Bali Islands?
Canggu Ubud and parts of Kuta stand out as wallet-friendly areas. Canggu features reasonably priced stays like The One Hotel Legian with good beach access and local attractions nearby. Ubud brings value with locations close to rice terraces and cultural sites. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Canggu was perfect - affordable food options great atmosphere and everything within walking distance."
When is the most affordable time to visit Bali Islands?
Travel costs drop during the shoulder season from March to May and September to November. These months bring better rates at places like Tir Na Nog in Gili Trawangan while popular spots such as Monkey Forest in Ubud and Tanah Lot Temple see fewer visitors. One TourRadar traveler shared "Visiting in March was perfect - we got great weather lower prices and could enjoy places like Crystal Bay Beach and Angel's Billabong without the peak season crowds."
What types of activities are typically included in budget Bali tours?
Standard tour inclusions feature visits to Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temples waterfall hikes at Tegenungan and Sekumpul snorkeling excursions to Nusa Penida and time at the Monkey Forest in Ubud. Many packages add surfing instruction in Kuta or Canggu. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The highlights were snorkeling with turtles in Nusa Penida learning to surf in Canggu and exploring the rice terraces - all included in our affordable tour package."
How much should I budget for meals not included in budget tours?
Plan for USD 15-25 daily for meals outside your tour package. Local warungs in Canggu and Ubud serve Indonesian dishes for USD 3-5 while restaurants near Jimbaran Beach range from USD 10-15 per meal. A TourRadar traveler noted "The local food options were incredibly affordable especially around Ubud market and Canggu's local streets allowing us to keep our food expenses low while enjoying authentic Balinese cuisine."
