We would give this tour 10 stars!! Our trip to Peru was cancelled last minute by an Irish travel company. We had specific dates we had to travel, so with 5 days notice before flying we contacted tourradar who put us in touch with Alejandro from guidelatam travel who was amazing!! From the minute we booked he contacted us by email and gave us his WhatsApp to have direct contact whenever we needed it before and during the trip. We were two sister in our 50s and felt very safe and reassured at all times. We were met with guides at every stage of the trip and was given the best experience. Alejandro and his team went above and beyond and were extremely professional, had lots of knowledge and were great fun to be around! This was an exceptional trip! Colombia is a beautiful country; a hidden gem. Every driver and every guide was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Everywhere we went, the locals welcomed our guides as a family and extended the same warmth to us.
This was certainly the best tour of Colombia! We normally travel independently, but given the size of Colombia and our meager Spanish, we opted for a tour. After a lot of comparison, we chose this one. We chose it because it offered the most complete experience, small group size (just us as it turned out), and the company has excellent reviews. The tour exceeded our highest expectations. Alejandro at GuideEcuador answered all of my questions quickly and patiently. He also modified the tour in places to accommodate our age-based limitations. The quality of the tour can't be surpassed. The local guides were excellent, and spoke English fluently. Not only were they knowledgeable, but also agreeable, patient, kind, and helpful. Our drivers skillfully negotiated the insane traffic. It was wonderful to know that every detail was taken care of, and all we had to do was be ready on time! We would give this tour 10 stars!!!
